Wait, seems you're referring to franchises...and not specific teams then. I'm talking about teams(from their Rookie through Vet run). If you go all-time(S1-S25) that's a different argument, and really hard to gauge.

In terms of super-elite team runs though, BSB has a case for the GOAT, especially nabbing 3 straight Vet #1 titles, and a perfect Vet season. The others I mentioned like LLUA, and HOF were dominant from tier to tier during their run, and also on Vet. BB's last run wasn't on that tier, but if you're talking about the run before that then you have a case that can be made.

You say "txsteve could start up playing again tomorrow and have one of the best teams around", which is true. But....that's even more true in the past, lol. You could take a team like Deadmen Genesis(good coaching, good build, lots of S*), and dump them in the Vet leagues of the past and they would be a Top 5 team. Take the top teams of the past and put them in the current Vet league, and they would have 1-3 losses most likely right now, which is why the current crop is the deepest ever. AA could go toe to toe with any team ever, but they're in a Vet league where they have teams like Whoville(another team on that super-elite cusp) and the Outlaws lurking about. Many seasons we didn't even have 15 human squads, much less a #15 team as good as Deadmen.

I do like this discussion though. If I get the time, maybe I'll start a project to build up old GLB2 league standings/results.

Dream Team beat BSB last season but I'm not calling them super-elite, lol. Don't get me wrong, BB was great last season, I was rooting for you guys, but didn't BB lose 7 games the season before? Last season's Vet was decidedly bad....I mean really bad. Many coaches went MIA, we had a lot of CPUs despite only two leagues, and there were only a handful of good squads around. Most ladder matchups were complete jokes. Vape was in a division with zero competition. This current season is way deeper, not even close. AA, Whovile are both "elite" squads

apparently we are at an impasse if you think deadman genesis could hold a candle to any of the teams i named or had any chance at being top 5 in any previous vet tier. no offense to whoever is on that team (except for tydavis cuz hes a lil mouthy dork) but they wouldnt have been top 15 last season (which as you stated was "bad") let alone a season like season 13 or some of the packed tiers. might just be the fact you are on the newer end of the spectrum of coaches so you didnt really experience the dominance of some of the past teams because i am sure even leos himself would not put BSB above teams like the stunners who literally won every league champ and every tier champ from start to finish (aside from the 1 that my old team MMA stole like season 8 or 9)

so at this point, again, you're a good dude and a good coach, but i do not agree with you at all and this is going nowhere lol. agree to disagree for now and if you ever follow up on your project idea i think it would open your eyes a bit and you would understand my points a bit better

idk the entire point of the game is to build a team into a franchise or dynasty correct? whoville has been around a while, so obviously you understand that aspect. whether it is whoville 1.0 or whatever # you are up to now, its still mostly the same whoville correct? you have mostly the same GMs, coaches, etc just updated player builds and some modifications and tweaks. since some teams stay at vet 20 seasons like galaxy heros or w/e and some reset every time, theres no way to rank a team based on any thing other than the entire career from start until the team folds.

Game is frozen #1 vs #2. They are kicking our ass. I never claimed to be elite just that I have hung with and beaten many of those teams and Sov talks like we are scrubs and he's a god. It is irritating reminding me a lot of Tdiddy always blowing his own horn. He's the GOAT when he wins and has an excuse ready when he losses. It also proves the whole point of how many great teams are in Vet at the moment.

So you divide teams up for into versions and then when convenient it is their entire existence. You can't say that was one version so it doesn't count and then brag about something 10 seasons ago.

Kentucky is like so many teams we have played this season great stuff and great builds. Last season their was a handful at the top and a bunch of easy games outside of that. There were weeks where there were just one or two interesting ladder games, a whole bunch today.

No worries man, I'm just bored and ready to watch the Warriors sweep the Cavs, lol. Greatest teams talk is always interesting to me, whether it be the NFL/NBA/MLB, so it's a nice change of pace topic to have. And I definitely think I'll try that project out, at least for historical reference since many older GLB2 teams get forgotten.

since you seem to have such a hard time understanding, just simply go to your team page, if you do not see lots of gold vet league champ trophies and gold vet ladder champ trophies (past present or current) you are not an elite team. end of story.

The thing is you discredit every win we have ever got. Always some reason why our wins didn't really count. We beat AA doesn't matter the version according to you. we are 1-0. I heard all the bragging and how elite and unbeatable they are then we beat them. Of course not even a reply to a GG.

The top teams last season do not seem much different from this season, just much less of them. You insulted every team in Vet while bragging about yourself and that is going to rub some people wrong.

you said "but we beat AA and blah blah blah" - i just pointed out this is a different AA (literally, look at the team page) and that rob hasnt logged in and gameplanned in 3 seasons. rob made this team in a day when he was bored to farm s* pts. hes not active, he doesnt gameplan, he doesnt care if the team wins or loses, he was going to retire the team before this season but it auto-renewed. so that all being said, of course hes not going to log in and give you a personal "gg osiris" or w/e because he doesnt check or care about results.

Wow, uhh... I love this old GLB2 info I am getting. As a player for 7ish seasons (One Year), I'm learning a lot of history from reading this. Uh... still... I just came to say GG Atlanta Eagles. lol

I love that this pissing match is still going on. I do agree with Sov a bit though. After playing against many of these teams in the past and seeing how much better they may look this season, I think that the tier is just lacking that next step up kind of team. BSB, BB and Vape personally seemed to be on another level the previous two seasons and seasons prior than some of these teams that are currently scrapping at the top. I am not trying to take anything away from these guys as I previously said there are some good teams. I simply feel like BSB/BB/Vape were on another level. I know BSB kind of cruised our last season and suffered as a lack of Gameplanning (Dream Team). Not taking anything away from Bo as Dream Team is a good team, but if we had a proper Gameplan in, the results would have been as they were previously surely. There are many good teams in Vet and best of luck to everybody in the hunt, just no teams clearly a level above at this point in the season. BB had some cruise seasons through the ranks as well but I know that BB and Vape were essentially the only teams that I felt BSB had to really dial in for on our last run.

We played all those teams last season. I didn't see elite or on another level, I just saw good teams. Just like the ones we have been playing. A lot of tight down to the wire finishes what's the huge difference?
