for a fucking combo back or power back yes, what do you not get about this?

Just because it doesn't work in the current sim doesn't mean it shouldn't.

Ding, Ding, Ding. I agree. Anytime you get Monster Hit or Big Hit... It should have a penalty. Especially if you build a freaking Reggie Bush. But that is the trade off.

This should not be implemented over night... It needs to be tested.

Softcapped is all they should need.

i have to ask...why would they even need soft capped strength if their main goal is to run away from defenders?O_o

Just as a random piece of information, Barry Sanders set the leg press record for the OSU football team. I forget the exact number, but it was up somewhere near 1000 pounds.

It is hard enough to build an elusive back. I don't think you get that.

This is going completely over kurieg's head.

But I'm not talking about a RB without Strength and Carrying.

I'm talking about one with a decent amount of Strength, with high Carrying. He shouldn't be a fumble machine.

48 Strength is shit.

48 strength is pretty damn low, but with 70ish carrying they should be viable to be a 5-7 carry homerun threat type back.

If Elusive Backs need 70 Strength not to fumble, then there is NO reason to ever build one.

I thought agility already played a role in their success. I think adding a balance penalty to being faked out makes perfect sense. I would add a fumble protection penalty when faking as well, but people wouldn't like that.

You've created quite a conundrum

Maybe it could work in conjunction with the carrying attribute, or perhaps it could be an "or" situation where the highest of the two is used for the roll. That and continued improvement of pathing would make agility a lot more attractive.

The problem with that is that before a RB gets those SAs, they are useless, that's why agility should give them an inherent ability to fake. My power RB with no SAs can break like 90 tackles in 90 carries but an elusive guy can't use his agility to make people miss until he gets SAs? Does that not seem messed up? Strength gives you an inherent ability to break tackles but agility shouldn't give you an inherent ability to fake guys?

Yeah, they should be viable but also clearly not a every down back.

Can't make that comparison when there is no "leg strength" in GLB.

leg strength =/=GLB strength

The CB's are also moving full speed to catch them. Most of the time the CB's downfield are backing up, not in the best position to tackle.

61 Strength is retarded for a combo or power back. It's not even worth mentioning.
