I'm not in your team to see the offensive problems, we have our own too. I find that when you get a problem fixed, another one pops up. I think there are certain settings that will greatly improve an offense. I've noticed it with my two teams when doing it. You get the odd bad games, but improvement there is. Plus, I really think it was the bug. If it was normal, we both would've had far higher completion %, therefore more 1st downs, therefore more points.

Congrats to Nebraska, Vancouver, Footstar, and my N.O. Swampdog's for clinching playoff births today.

With NY-CA and Tuscaloosa that means 6 of the 16 spots are taken. Things are heating up folks.

Congrats to all the winners today.

Las Vegas and The Aggressors can clinch with a win in the next game.

Ketchikan can clinch with a win AND a Kansas City loss to Las Vegas.

Oakland can clinch with a win AND a Montreal loss AND a Myrtle Beach loss.

Chicago can clinch with a win AND a Virginia loss to Oakland AND a Montreal loss AND a Myrtle Beach loss.

EDIT: Fixed, apparently I don't even know the team I'm playing this week.

Las Vegas, The Aggressors and Ketchikan all clinched today. So did Waterloo, who I didn't notice could - by virtue of the fact that San Jose and Chicago must play each other, one of them will end up worse than 9-7, and so Waterloo has a spot.

That makes the current playoff field:
Western Conference:
NY-CA
Nebraska
Vancouver
Ketchikan
Las Vegas
Waterloo

Eastern Conference:
Tuscaloosa
Footstar
New Orleans
The Aggressors

Teams mathematically eliminated from playoff contention:
Western:
New Paris
Houston
NORTHWOOD

Eastern:
New York
Nashville
Cleveland

Teams that can clinch in the next game:
Chicago (Eastern) can clinch a playoff spot with a win.
Oakland can clinch a playoff spot with a win.

Do we get a home game?

We control our own destiny for that, as does Ketchikan. That said, we're in slightly better shape than they are, because we beat Waterloo, while Waterloo beat Ketchikan. Lets assume Waterloo wins out, their schedule's not too tough, though Chicago could give them a run for their money.

So if we beat Ketchikan then lose to Oakland, we'll be tied with Waterloo and possibly Ketchikan, who we would both have beaten, and therefore we'd win the tiebreaker. On the other hand, it Ketchikan beats us then loses to Nebraska, either they'd be tied with Waterloo and lose the tiebreaker, or they'd be tied with us and Waterloo, and we'd have a round robin situation, which would be decided by points scored, I believe.

And if no.clear winner emerges from all of this, a two man sack race will be held on consecutive Sundays until a champion can be crowned.

Anyone know how ties work out? Because the Red Bulls and ourselves are both 10-4 yet we have lost to em... Yet we occupy 4th spot on the ladder?

It ought to be head to head, but maybe the game won't calculate that until the playoffs.

IF it doesn't work right, I'm sure that Bort will get an earful.

That's it. Oakland, Chicago, and the Aggressors are in a round-robin tie.

We could have been in the playoffs today, but a bone-crushing loss to Gulf Coast put us in the situation that Montreal must lose or we must win to be in the playoffs.

Wow! Maine beat the Aggressors 16-10!
Big win, puts them on the fast track to making the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the Footstar Heroes defense got royally shafted on experience today.

Swampdogs on Saturday, big, big game!
