the GG forum becomes the safe haven for the GG crowd... and it's moderated by non-CPL mods so there's no whiff of soft corruption.

the CPL forum remains the place were CPL posters can feel free to continue being CPL posters.

my suggestion has absolutely nothing to do with asking CPL posters to change.

If we create a GG sub forum, they'll complain that CPL should be the sub forum and not CPL GG

Then they'll complain that people who post in CPL shouldn't be able to post in CPL GG unless they have a player in CPL

Except, since their forum is dead, they complain that the non-GG forum is active, and if they post there, they get flamed. Most of the complaints aren't because they dislike the forum, it is because they dislike other people having fun and want it taken away...regardless if they have a GG forum or not.

for starters, deathblade categorically misunderstood my proposal there... and your jimmy post categorically misunderstands my structural argument.

i'm most certainly not advocating a "punishment of CPL", much less trying to "justify shitmodding".

i'm only suggesting that since the CPL and GG crowd will never agree, that they should just be segregated into different forums. that's all.
