No one is any more. However before the need Alexander teams spent a lot on it due to the league. No chance to respec that first season now

Realistically I think it is fair to expect that the running game will receive a bump next season - might need to take that into account. Plus - easy to say they've been nerfed into oblivion... But virgins, ASU, etc are all still doing decently.

This, I've only been investing in pass defense this season, hopefully it'll start showing.

Let's not be so quick to anoint rushing as dead. There are plenty of teams in Vet having success running the ball.

#3, #4, #7, #11, #12, #14, #15 are all pure rushing or almost pure rushing. #5, #8 are balanced teams.

I think what we're seeing is rushing in the lower levels becomes a lot harder due to lack of SA's to make tacklers miss. In order to fix this, players should get Ability Points a bit earlier. Swap some of the 2500 SP level gains for 1 AP level gains.

Realistically nobody needed to spend a point in run defense for the first 2 seasons.

I don't think anyone is anointing rushing all together as dead. But it is pretty bad in rookie and sophomore now. Maybe seasoned too, i haven't had the pleasure yet.

Thankfully, I don't have to read a write up on how bad BEEF is going to molester my team. The replay is just going to be painful. I may just take the next day off and gameplan for my League game instead. lol... awww....

sigh...good game AZ. At some point i am going to stop conceding 3rd down to teams. I don't know when, but it will be a changing point in the offense...

If I remember right - ashland is a pass d?

in any case - haha breaking a lot of tackles there -- some for nice yardage after contact

Yeah according to Bhall they have no investment in run defense whatsoever. And after watching that game they obviously don't have much invested in tackling. Good game to watch. Predicted the winner correctly but not even close on the score. More defensive than I thought it would be. Didn't help that Ashland played questionable offense on 3rd and long

yup very little investment in any tackling skill outside of small investments in PT to this point on the entire defense.

even with the run buff i would say you still need run defense skills. you may not need a ton like the past but you still need them and tackling skills so when players start breaking tackles you dont get rapped.

Good game. You were throwing out basically every blitz you could find at me. I was incredibly nervous throughout the entire game. When those 2 sack fumbles happened early, I thought that might've been it.

Also, I think this was the all around fastest WR corps I've faced. Was a bit worried you'd burn me deep, pass the balance roll, and get a quick touchdown. Thought about throwing in some ZEB action, but went a bit conservative because of that speed.
