Also think it hurts me that i live in a valley. Rabbit ears on my tv probably wouldnt do much id need an external one which i cant install being a renter.

try a $10 internal one for the hell of it. that's what I did, and was pleasantly surprised. Managed to watch some of last nights game in my recliner in my house office while drinking a gin. was nice.

the rabbit ear looking one is pretty much what I have, but I've heard that people do have better luck with the flat window ones

According to http://www.tvfool.com/ I should be able to get the main local stations (fox cbs nbc) using a table top antenna.

Ill give it a shot. Seems cheap enough to test it out.

Ya antenna is a no go for me:

"No Stations were predicted for this address

Due to factors such as terrain and distance to broadcasting towers, signal strength calculations have predicted no television stations may be reliably received at this location."

Near Woodstock CT. Southern Central MA leaning towards the western side. I am not out west but i am far enough away from Worcester to be around cow farms and corn fields.

Although we've been discussing you buying Sunday Ticket Max for 15 pages and you didn't say you only wanted to watch Pats games until now, so it's pretty obvious you've changed your argument. But that just makes your solution way more simple, you're stealing something that you could get by simply buying an antenna or having 1 friend.
