The fact that GLB doesn't operate like an NFL game in the time sense is something that also gets overlooked. More time on the field is going to equal more points plain and simple.

I like using nice locally roasted beans in my press but can't turn my nose up at a nice iced coffee on a hot day. Is iced coffee peasant status now? Cold brewing is nice but i never feel like thinking 12 hours in advance for it

Why does something that mimics a longer game than NFL and puts out more stats FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS ruin the game?

GLB was never advertised as that and I don't ever see it going that route, so feel free to quit and sell alpine naow.

But you said you want less plays to keep scores down, that would just be taking more time between plays off the clock, and nothing more. And a realistic sim is what we want, but if you want realistic stats you just don't have confidence in your builds because last I checked this is a player creation game
