Is the Hazy game against the Hellraisers gonna be a PTT defense?

Neither has TKW or Singapore, and they both have better showings this season.

If the argument is "CPL hasn't had an opportunity recently", then I see the point.

We were told this next challenger was some sort of vote, but I don't know that anyone really knows how that'll work.

the problem with TKW and/or Singapore is that they're not American, or Drinkin, so i'm p sure that makes them ineligible.

Seriously, it should be either an undefeated Pro team or a WL team. Of the Pro Teams, I'd say Nashville or Manatoba has the best resume - Nashville has beated Drygerian and had close losses to drinkin and LSP. Matadors beat Nashville, but has close losses to Manus and Stuttgart.
Of the rest, obviously the Blaze have already had a shot, and the Tasmania Tigers lost to Bonn by 23 earlier.
Cascade hasn't played any tournaments.
GRITS was also beaten by the Matadors so I can't really justify giving them a shot ahead of the Matadors.
Angola Spider Monkeez have a loss to North Delta and no scrim wins that get me excited.

Looking at WL teams, I'd consider playoff teams from Alpha that haven't gotten a shot at Bonn already - so not HHW or the Shockers. I suppose Drinkin could be in the mix, but I don't really see a good reason for them to be the first team to get a 3rd shot at the PTT (HHW, Shockers, and Drinkin all have had 2 shots) and Drinkin gets a shot at Bonn in Hazy's in a day anyways. Zeta has had shots at Bonn already without much success, and they collectively get a second chance in the playoffs to knock them off.

This puts my top three choices at:

Manitoba Matadors
Nashville Hounds
Three Kingdom Warriors

And that's not a bad list for a vote, I suppose, if it has to be a poll. If you're going to add anyone else it should just run down WL Alpha's playoff list, pretty much.

I have been wanting to do doing a poll for the final shot of the season.

Question though, would a site poll make sense? I could just post the link here and in each Pro League forum. I don't think it should be owner only, so it could end up being a multi ballot stuffing type deal for lulz etc.

Site polls wouldn't really work out that well imo, there are simply too many homers/trolls on the forums. I think the best way to go is probably form a committee (something like 2 representatives from each of the Pro Leagues and WL). Representatives from each league will "recommend" 2 teams from their league that they think are worthy, state their causes. Then conduct a vote among these teams with the representative not allowed to vote for teams in their league. I think this way you minimize the region bias as much as possible and it's also easier implement than a site poll.

Of course, the "recommendations" and the "vote record" of each representatives should be open to public to keep it transparent and fun

Really? TKW is the only team that would have any shot of staying close, let alone winning. Plus Nashville just got dominated by Lincoln today, and Manitoba is barely ready to promote into the WL, forget about challenging Bon (really weak CPL, plus losses to a mediocre Manus team and a decent Stuggart team, etc.)

We clinched #1 seed and ran basic AI as we'll play them again in 2nd round. Oh, and it was a 3 point game until the final play.

That's domination baby,
