I will go for it on 4th and 20 just to spite you. Im also hoping that some teams try to go for it on 4th down against us so that we can shove the ball up their asses when we get the ball inside their 20.

There's a difference between going for it every 4th and going for it when it makes sense.

4th and 6 NEVER EVER makes sense unless there is 1 second on the clock and your team is behind. Period. Carolina going for it on 4th and beating San Diego with 2 seconds left made sense. Going for it on 4th and 6 when there is lots of time left in the game makes absolutely no sense and is the true sign of a rookie play-caller. PUNT ! Everytime. Period. But you guys probably don't realize that going for it on 4th and 6 hurt your team more than helped. After all the game was only a 6 point difference.

If you're too far for a FG, and too close to punt (resulting in a touchback), sometimes it's worth it to go for it on 4th if you're willing to take the risk.

Well I guess I am looking at this all wrong ? My punter has the skills to place a punt on the 1 -2 yard line to pin the opponent with their backs against the goal line. I suppose ICP's punter sucks ? Maybes thats it ? I apologize for griping about the 4th down attempt
