I have a story for you. In August I vacationed with my family on the Cisco chain in the U.P., just over the border with Wisconsin. Driving up we listened to the radio and just about every station in Wisconsin that we listened to all the talk was about how horrible it was that Favre was gone. One DJ even said "can we please go an hour without mentioning the F word?" But there was one moment that really stood out. We stopped off in Eagle River, Wisconsin, on our way up for groceries. As I was checking out the dejected and somber looking lady manning the cash register asked me "Isn't it just so sad about Brett Favre?" I just looked at her and said "Lady, I'm from Chicago." She looked me in the eye with a puzzled expression and appearing to be close to tears and asked "Don't you care?" I couldn't help myself, all I could do was laugh and I felt bad laughing because she really did appear to be very upset. It was quite surreal.


LOL ! They all take their Packers football WAY too serious man ! Lifelong season ticket holders ! Heck, if you lived in such a shitty state, wouldn't you look forward to football as well ??

No. Its like the factual theory similar to what happened in the NFL last year. The Giants beat the Cowboys, so therefore the Giants must have been some super duper team that would be able to make it to the super bowl and somehow dethrone the greatest team of all time. Although Lincoln is not great like the Patriots were. Although there are some similarities, since the Patriots smashed their way to a 16-0 record in a conference full of french licks, but anyways. Lincoln is more like the Buffalo Bills.

Have you ever beaten Lincoln? Do you know what it takes? You think making a stupid comment gives you partial credit if Iowa City beats us?

USA A2 has several teams that have beaten your team. USA A2 doesn't have a single team that has ever beaten Lincoln. In fact, the three games we've lost over our 3 season stint in USA A2 have all been to the team that won the League Championship.

No matter the result in today's game, that'll still be true. And you'll still be here bragging about every win and finding lameass excuses for every loss.
