The Inmates would like to congratulate their choice for the ROLB award for season 4:

Real-Deal Jonce from the Darwin Devils.

Mr Jonce amassed 9 sacks on the season with 6 hurries. He also had 2 forced fumbles and 1 interception. Add in his 8 passes defended and 84 tackles (a rate of a tackle for every 9.7 plays), and that gets the Inmates vote for top ROLB. Other players may have higher stats in different categories, but we feel this guy is the all around ROLB that makes a team better.

Congratulations on a great season.

The Oakland Suppressors are about ready to pick the MVP based upon the candidates that you select. Is there a cutoff date that we want to establish?

I would prefer that everyone has their nominations in and then give me a day to go through film and stats. I will go ahead and start looking at the nominations that are already in. Would like to see more offensive players in the mix.

I agree with dviss1 that we are the best team to pick MVP. Totally unbiased on my end. You all equally totally stomped our butts so I can honestly say that I don't have any bias for one team or the other.

Either way this goes.. it won't be a popular vote so, I am just going to go ahead and vote the way I feel it should go.

Punt Return/Kick Return: Oso Verde from the Amarillo Fantastic Tadpoles errr.. I mean Amarillo Super Frogs. lol

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=90587

With just 10 kick returns, Oso was able to average the 4th most in all of AA#1 (36.9). 2 of those 10 went for a TD. In punt returns, Oso managed 29 returns for the top highest average with 27.6 yards a return. 8 of the 29 saw pay dirt.

For me, it was tough to decide between Oso and Dominique-Rodgers Cromartie. Both are equally deserving of the award. I just feel like Oso managed to be more 'valuable' in the position to give him top honors.

Thanks but Oso declines the award, he feels since all those stats came in 3 games and against very weak opponents that Cromartie deserves the recognition....this season....but as i pointed out in an earlier thread Oso will be full time KR/PR in season 5, hopefully he can truly earn the recognition then

thanks again

I admit I'm a bit disappointed that the Uprising received 0 player awards. I guess the teams in charge of the QB, WR, and TE awards never checked in though.
