I'm glad to see you can read minds, I was actually going to ask the team if they wanted to do it, I don't make any decisions on my own, but I didn't even get the chance to.

Well, you're probably right about levels, given that you guys can't beat us (see my edited post above as to why your inability to beat us is meaningless, but I had to say it). That being said, the Red Bulls, after they boosted, were better than we were, and it wasn't particularly close. The loss, though disappointing, wasn't a surprise.

Yeah man, we totally got a huge level advantage on you.

Buddhas average level (minus the lvl 2 center): 23.5
Bulls average level: 23.3

We played our meaningless scrimmage before all of our lower leveled players boosted this season (though that might be true of you, too, although your starters were definitely higher leveled than us), and last season you well out-leveled us.

I highly doubt we really out-leveled you all that much last season, keep reaching for reasons as to why your fluke 4th quarter comback was so awesome. Hopefully we can have a meaningful game sometime soon, that is if you figure out how to get out of AA 4.

As for the your scrimmage game and the possible one with the Red Bulls, who really cares, I hadn't even looked at the Bulls roster since we played them in season 3 until today when I computed the lvl averages. I was excited about the scrimmages at first, but to be honest they don't matter and I'm too lazy to even care about them, chances are the Red Bulls will be promoted, and we can have a real game to talk some trash about next season. If you guys fail to beat the Tsunami then I guess we could have a scimmage. But for now the series can stand at 1-0 with a 29-7 win for the Buddhas.

I'm pretty sure I never said our regular season win over you was awesome, though I do remember your entire team claiming that you were going to destroy us (I do still enjoy my Runbot bobblehead, thanks), and I believe that you guys were the highest leveled team in Zeta the entire season (though I think we were second or, maybe, third after we boosted).

By the way, I'm amazed (and pleased) at how bitter you continue to be about your inability to beat us (obviously it's not been that difficult a challenge for the Red Bulls and Titans). You guys are good, you got promoted, you're having a good season at AAA. Enjoy it. Coming back here and hashing out old grudges b/c, for whatever reason, the sim liked us more when we played each other is kind of sad and pathetic.

Consider it done.
Nice win Red Bulls.
I knew they shouldn't have been a 4 seed :-p

nfratami is just mad b/c they're gonna lose to the Blood Pandas.
But you can't win em all.
Nice run Bulls. Guess I'll be seeing you next year again.
Now we really want a re-match.

EDIT - I was in AAA2 congratulating them on getting to the 2nd round in their first season, probably what made them take a look back at us low-life's

Thanks, Snaza, though I wouldn't sell yourselves short about your chances against Firestorm. I know they're really good, but so are you and anything can happen (did I ever tell you about that awesome time we got a flukey, completely undeserved win against the great and mighty Bangkok Buddhas. . . I'm sure I did, as I tell everyone. . .wow that was really great. . .I'm going to go jerk off to the memory for the fifth time today).

So, I guess you are considered bitter/mad when you prefer to not kiss the ass of every team you play like the softies in AA 4.

Of course I'm gonna come back to the forums and rub it in when a team that we have a colorful history with can't get it done in the Playoffs again.

Snaza, yeah we probably will lose to the Blood Pandas, but the Buddhas have already passed my preseason expectations. In a league of teams created halfway through season 1, we got the 4th seed and a home playoff game which we won, I couldn't ask for more. Losing to an undefeated #1 seed wouldn't make me mad at all.

All of you on this forum are way to sensitive, any time I talk trash on this forum you resort to telling me how pathetic an action it is or that I'm taking it too seriously, when you are missing the fact that it is nothing more than something entertaining to do at work. This game would be terribly boring if there weren't teams out there that you don't get along with. Which leads me to my previous point, if after every game NFL coaches sounded like you with your man love ass kissing of teams that just beat you, I would have to stop watching the games.

Oh, I know. And you're kind of right about the 'love fest'.
Although to their credit they were talking a lot of shit in the Week 16 post.

Most of our trash talking now is Cross-Conference, not inter-conference.

ZETA SUCKS BIG FLOPPY DONKEY DICK!!!

See, kind of like that

I guess I can understand that, nfratami. I get no joy out of trash talking, so it would never occur to me to do it, and when I see it coming out of left field (or last season), it strikes me as odd (if you're really bored at work, you can see my discussion with Porch in another thread, where his gloating over Alpha's preseason record seemed bizarre to me). What can I say, I am just a caveman. I fell on some ice and later got thawed out by some of your scientists. Your MMORPG world frightens and confuses me. Sometimes when I see trash talking in your forums, I wonder "did little demons get inside my computer and type it?" I don't know! My primitive mind can't grasp these concepts.

Although this was obviously said in a joking manner, I believe there really is some truth to this statement. Having played online games and MMOs for a while I am sort of used to a certain level of trash talking and have come to expect it, GLB is an interesting crowd, you get a mix of gamers and sports fans, and those who are a combination of both like myself.
