Boundary waters and the northwoods are better than anything texas has to offer. Throw in 15000 lakes, no crime, great economy, great schools, winter sports, blonde hair-blue eyed swedes, etc and you've got god's country.

Only thing texas has is steers and women with big hair.

Tenolein - I'm originally from red wing, lived in bloomington and mpls post college and now live in memphis.

I'm excited for brewster and he got a great recruiting class but I was also excited about mason at the beginning as well.

I guarantee you that it's a well accepted fact that Texas is known more for hot women than Minnesota.

Psh.

That's because Minnesota is always overlooked when it comes to that.. 48 other states are known more than Minnesota for their women.. doesn't mean it's true.

MN cant even brag about having the best mall any more. MN is ok in the summer. I have been to the twin cities plenty of times. Its like an older dirtier colder austin.

You obviously haven't been to St. Paul. Minneapolis needs some cleaning up, but downtown St. Paul is beautiful.

Who cares about the 'best mall'. MoA still is still one of the biggest shopping attraction in the US.

Nothing tops Minnesota in the fall or winter, though. You think the Twin Cities is cold in January.. Try the Twin Ports. ;P

Jearly, where in MN are you from?

I, too, am a big Gopher guy (well, I'm assuming you are one).

Brewster, I think, will be a good coach. C'mon, you can't be anything BUT optimistic after his first recruiting class signed after that awesome 1-11 year.

He couldnt even recruit his own son to MINN lol who went to TEXAS

I guess if you really like something to hold onto then Minnesota is your kinda place.

There are several states that can put up a good argument with Texas for better state and better women.

Minnesota is not on that list.

Have you been to West Edmonton Mall? Its amazing. I know they are just malls, but for the longest, it was a huge deal for the Twin cities.

I am probly one of the most well traveled people you will ever come across. And honestly I truly enjoy MN in the spring and summer. The folks are down to Earth, and its a beautifull place. I personally will never reside in any state north of the Mason Dixon line. I enjoy southern living and visiting the north. FL and TX are the two spots for me given a choice.

If I moved out of Texas it would be to Colorado or Montana. . . . I lived in Colorado in 4 years and would jump at the chance to live there again.
