I think Wins are an overrated stat. When most people look bad in a win they would say "An ugly win is better than a pretty loss". This is a myth. Ask someone about a team that just won but looked terrible doing it, "Yeah they won but God that was ugly". Now ask that same person about a team that lost but looked great doing it, "Yeah they lost but man they looked incredible".

In summary, I push for a Bortification that looks at more than just "Wins" as a factor of a successful season. I say a .500 team that had style and pizazz should get into the playoffs over a team that are 12-4 but are a bore to watch. What say you?

Quick follow up, what is a "win" anyway? Should we give said "win" to a team that had 3 more points on the scoreboard but 100 yards less in the passing game? This is serious business, guys.

yoohoodrinker has something here. Let's take football and make it not football but NASCAR. Who **doesn't** want the thrill of watching teams slowly build statistical edges over the course of a game or a season, and not knowing who won without consulting a spreadsheet? Sign me up!

Seriously, this has been one of the best seasons yet. It is going to be KICKASS next season with a lot of talent coming up. I cant wait!
