I'd rather climb up them...

Im thinking the cowbells are gonna climb pretty high. IMO top 2 in the west.

That is only if we can figure out the glitches in the AI... I predict weird outcomes for the next couple of games...

Yeah there are some glitches. Good game More. We had two that could've cost us the game. Don't have the link, but we were at 3rd goal on the 1, and ran a yard, but didn't score? Also, kicking a 78.5 yard FG, only to miss, and let More kick a FG at end of half? Oh well, we'll get you in the playoffs! (Hopefully!)

Yeah that FG thing when I saw it, I shook my head and cursed Bort.

<soapbox rant here>

The fact that we had all of two preseason games to work out the AI is nothing short of ridiculous. At a minimum there needs to be a test bed server that is constantly running, that you can just automatically send your AI to and have it sim a game and give you the results. Maybe you can only do this twice a day (to conserve server processing power or something), but it would help immensely to work these bugs out in a non-official setting.

I think the dev's were in way to big a hurry to release this thing. They should have had all the kinks worked out. It's only 1 loss, and I don't really foresee but maybe a couple more if even, so it's not that big a deal. Just the principals of it. I wasn't so much as mad about the FG attempt as I was having the ball on the 1, gaining a yard, and it not being a TD. That pissed me off when I heard it. Oh well, what can you do? GG by the way, Buck!

The game rounds off. you might of needed a yard and only gotten .89 yards and it rounded up to being 1 yard gain when really your .11 yards short?

And as for the Field goal thing i dont think its that hard to fix =)

I think the FG thing is fixed. Like I said, it's really not a big deal. I still feel we have a great chance at winning our conference. We have a tremendous team, and I wish everybody the best of luck. The Cowbells are a great team, and just outplayed us, and we had a couple of things that didn't go our way. That's life. Time to move on, and destroy Compton!

Thanks Hsker. Yes it was a good game. We were fortunate to escape with the win!

We've experienced that yardage quirk for going on a full season now. Its happened to us a few times at the goal as well. Frustrating as h3ll and when i inquired in the bug forum about it, the answer was 'rounding'. My response was to do it the way the pros do........they round down.

Whats frustrating is watching the RB get tackled 2 yds short but still get the first down (stupid dive for yds SA!!!!)

This new "test" button needed to be there from the get-go.

Its pretty ridiculous IMO that you can't set formations in the offense AI but can in the defense.

What do you mean by that? I only set the defensive AI but what exactly can you not do in the offensive?

EDIT- do you mean you can't set the formation you want to run in general?

That is kind of weird. Not that I would mind too much as a D coordinator (as I can set the defense to respond to each formation however I want anyway) but it would only make sense you get to call plays out of certain formations.

Lol my team would definitely be in Big formations, with only 1 WR if we could. So hard to find quality WRs this season.
