we had them raised pretty high, with only a 5% discount. we underestimated what our near perfect fan support would do for us. we purchased the rest of the seats available so we are working with those

Questions guys we held off on doing upgrades to too the cost of doing it ... if you make the upgrad prior to the start of the season is it worth it?

I mean do they "pay for them selves" after one season.

1.5 mil loan for an enzone Loan = 1.8 when paying it off

I mean 2760 seats at $34 is only $93,840 or look at it as possible charging double the expected your still only getting $187,680

Guess I am asking do you only do upgrades IF you have the cash on hand to do it OR are you guys taking out loans and hoping for the best. Some of you have 5 mil and a full roster where we have 1.5 and missing a great deal of players.

NO we did not blow the money either which I keep hearing.

we just made sure anyone who hit the 8 lvls mark had money for gear not knowing that some owners where not doing this and making the players play on relaxed to save money ... now we know.

Just do the math, and set your ticket prices so you will at least get your money back. Also, play with the prices because you have a few days to sell tickets. So if you set them too high the first day, you can come down over the entire preseason to the point where they'll sell. The expected price is too low, by the way. Taking out the loan at the last minute in the offseason and using it for upgrades is also a great idea. Just pay back the loan as soon as your season ticket sales go through and you won't have to pay interest. After your upgrades you'll get all of your cash back, and your concession sales will jump dramatically, that's where you'll make your profit.
