That is just ridiculous- I think they should think hard about a salary cap on the level capped teams.

figures, I tried to sign this guy, no wonder he turned down my 72k...lol

Devon LaMarche is the LB for my team the Blue Rogues. Yea I know i spent quite a bit on him but we'll see how it works out. He has 2 years to prove that he's worth the money haha. I don't think a 90,000 per year for two years is THAT bad. My thinking was come next season the contract offers will be even MORE ridiculous(especially with the whole fame thing possibly coming into effect next season) and whatever level this LB ends up being at the end of the season(17? 18?), he probably would have gotten an offer for more than 90k/year come next season. so in the end i would have came out pretty nicely in the deal.

And even if i'm wrong about that, i also invested in our stadium so hopefully i'll get some pretty decent funds from that.

90k a year isnt too terrible. Its the huge trades that are insane - approaching 300k-400k for sub-13 guys, before you even consider his wages.
