Maybe you should check the recap of our playoff game against BOZ. They had slightly better coaches, slightly better players and slightly better organization... but they were not on a different level. They were a powerful team but they were beatable.

I don't like to get wrapped up in the whole "Zeta vs. Alpha" debate, but to dismiss the championship game last year because BOZ was supposedly on some other competitive plane; that's ludicrous.

Amen Wally. Alpha beats their chest about how much better they are and then just keep dismissing (with many excuses) what has been historically now, ass kickings. Everyone wanted to win today, no doubt and to just say "Oh we didnt care etc" is too funny.

Berg dominated yes, but we barely lost to them in the first game and got soundly beaten in the league championship, but nothing like the killing today they gave to Ax (sorry Ragu heh really like ya!!). Rome beat Berg and Polk High played em tough.

Anyway, enjoy the season, we cant wait!! (Invasion flying their B29 Superfortress under the radar).

I don't remember much about the league last year, so somebody else needs to make Zeta power rankings. I would just be going off of chemistry and talent, not how they did last year. My point is, somebody make Zeta conference power rankings, so I can see where my London Pounds stand.

There is no way Alpha is better than Zeta right now. I can't argue that. And I also don't believe teams in Alpha didn't try. We wanted to win against Mannheim and we are going to play to win against Polk High. All I am saying is it doesn't matter if Zeta is better all that matters is that Alpha has 1 team that is better. And Bergen Op was on a different level. Just like the Pats but, they lost to the Giants. Stuff happens.

BOZ was also down late 14-3 to the Panthers, then when they were up 16-14 the Panthers had 1st and 10 on their 29 yard line with 1:12 to play. Not sure why the sim decided right then to call a PASS, but their SS picked it and took it to the house. Even with no timeouts, there was plenty of time to run the ball once, then kick a reasonable 40 yarder to potentially win the game.

Stuff does happen, but to say that BOZ is "on a different level" implies some sort of infallibility that really wasn't there; just ask Rome.

That is impressing that you guys scored 14 on them.

Sorry Jay not buying it. The top 4 or so teams in Zeta were pretty close. During the season we should have beaten Berg but the dam AI took over and ran it up the gut over and over, when we had 80% outside run. After that loss we turned the stupid AI off.

In the playoffs Berg dominated us, plus secretly I didnt want to move up cause I didnt think we stood a chance in AA with a 14 QB, 15 RB etc. (shhh dont tell Ike). Anyway its mute now, its season 4 and I like Zetas chances for a repeat. We have some tough tough teams!! Yet respect to Alpha some scary teams over there too!

Not making excuses, Normandy beat us, but we obvioulsy fooled with the new AI too much. We had atleast two instances of going for it on 4th and long when we should have obviously kicked a FG.

with all the experimentation and bugs from yesterday, I don't know if you can truly gauge TOO much.

I will say that we couldn't run on you Normandy, and for some reason my C had his play set to relaxed which led to your NT mowing him down almost every play.

or maybe the NT is a beast....well I'd like to think that as he's my guy haha

I don't think anyone is putting too much stock in the preseason games; everyone is trying new things and I just figured out the new WR/CB depth charts. What is more telling are the matchups that count between the two conferences....

Dam Neo, hmm can you have other teams do that haha. Our NT is a beast but ya tons of bugs for everyone. I hope tomorrows game iron them out so we get a true look at what we can expect this season.

Does this mean that you think BCK or Ax is on another level as well? Going by your criteria they had the same or similar records to BOZ; therefore, they are on another level.
