I still need to understand how a team with 12 GMs can't get one GM to step in when one leaves. It's sad, really.

Maybe we'll have a non-Texas team in the SWC, er, I mean Western Conference.

LMAO... I hope you werent implying you are going to beat Houston... especially not after just coming over from the kiddie pool......

I'm pretty sure he meant RAL. I'm just glad to have a team on board that we can compare scouting reports against the Horn teams now. I have no doubt that Houston, Dallas, RAL, and Austin have at least "discussed" game planning us

Not that it will help. Houston is the hands down favorite next sesaon. Any team would be incredibly fortunate to beat them

Nope -- there was no discussion regarding how to beat the Roughnecks. As UT alums, beating aggies just comes naturally.

Wow thats fuckin ridiculous. So now it's like you have two teams in one. Pathetic. Unfair and now we have another gutted team good job.

we only have three players from that squad btw.
One player is owned by an agent already on our squad, and the other two fill needs.

Oh alright I thought your were getting all of their players. You would have two teams in one and would have insane depth.

In the long run, that would actually hurt a team rather than help it. If you don't have enough snaps to go around, then your players don't lvl and the team falls behind everyone else. I've seen it happen.

True, but that's the long run....it sure does help a team who's only missing a few pieces of the puzzle in the short run.

It happens faster than you would think -- like within 1 season.

Well what's got to be tough is getting beat twice in a row by a coach not deemed good enough to stay at A&M. Just goes to show it's not all about beating texas u. anymore

We were trying to get him another multi-year extension.

So true. If we could sign players at just TWO positions we'd be dramatically better overnight.

Kinda like the banner at Kyle Field in '97 just above me on the 2nd Deck Alumni side. . . "Aggies For Mackovic. 4 More Years"

Hey jackass, what did Houston do that is wrong?

Picking up three players in the offseason can hardly be considered some huge classless move.

There is no favorite. It looked stupid when Cerneo said it and it looks stupid when you say it.

Yeah, I dont get where all this Houston is the favorite crap is coming from. We dont want the tag, and we havent earned the tag. Season 4 is a toss up between several clubs we are in that group. The only thing we have proven is we can make the playoffs and make it back to A#1 for another year.

BTW Lawdawg I havent discussed game planning you at all. People ask all the time, I always tell them its unethical. But if you would like that and think its ethical. We could work something out for sure.

The only reason that Houston isn't the favorite for next season is that the rules of the sim are changing significantly and no one knows exactly what the ultimate combined effect will be regarding the algorithm changes and the ability of users to successfully use the new AI optionality.

In many respects, its season 1 all over again.

Agreed and until we learn how to apply the AI properly there will be all kind of mistakes being made. That is why the new friendly games will be significant for those willing to pay for them.

Actualy I believe the changes made our toons stronger as we built knowing these changes would be nec eventualy. I refused to go with the lopsided builds that were the trend. We should benifit greatly.
