The point is that the difference between a level 10-16 FB isn't that important. A good RB in this game doesn't need a FB anyway.

He could waive both our guys and go out and sign somebody random about the same level and there would not be much of a drop off...why are you in denial about this?

I'm not denying that my FB isn't going to have a big impact on the game.. not as much as the LB I'm going to bring to the Vikings this season - I'm disputing your claim that a FB isn't important to a team and that a team could do just as well without him.

I think Nano's FB is very important to the offense, whoes going to block that LB to give Seemi another five yards? Also with him as a agent he was able to bring other players to fill the holes by the people that wanted to leave. This is very important to the TEAM as it keep our core together. His FB has as much impact on the game as much as my back up OT. Collectively we make enough impact to win consistently and collectively we at lest have class. Unlike some.

Two examples of why fullbacks are important from a recent playoff run (Same team, different fullbacks):

Oh hi, I broke your tackles: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=11458246
Follow me, sir: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=11457456

I have plenty examples of our halfback following our fullback and being sprung for an extra five yards, but being a scoring play makes it the easiest to find. We had one play where one of our FB's blocked a SS and LB about 7-10 yards down the field which sprung our HB for an extra 5. They're essential in a GOOD running offense.

Agreed, I can dig up countless plays where our FB's made the key block for the HB to get the big run or score.

That's a ridiculous point. There is no need for a rushing FB if you have good RB's (such as our team having an avg of 6 YPC for our two RB's) Not only that, but your FB who we are shit talking is NOT a rushing FB, or if he is he is a failure of one! So why even bring up a rushing FB?

To refute your second point, OBVIOUSLY and let me repeat that because some of you idiots seem to think I am stating otherwise OBVIOUSLY they are important as a POSITION. Having someone to block the first player that gets to your RB is important. What i'm saying, is that having a level 16 FB or having a level 13 FB is not going to make or break a championship team. 9 times out of 10, the 13 FB is still going to get out in front of the RB and make the first block.

And that 1 time out of 10 is the reason you didn't play in the championship game.

I'm a proponent of quality builds over levels. There's no doubt that it's more important, but I would take a 16 FB over a 13 FB if they're both well built.

1. 15 more skill points to distribute in a solid manner.
2. 4 attribute points due to equipment.
3. Attirbute increase due to levels.

If the higher level FB has a solid build, they're going to have better vision, better strength, blocking and everything else, too. If you come up to a well built defensive player regardless of position, he may not beat the 16 but will beat the 13. It's simple reasoning that will give you this. I'm not going to say it comes to the point of a championship coming to that, but little differences add up over time.

As a Browns fan, you should know what a fullback dropping passes is all about and how that can suck on a third down.

Point well made, and taken. I'd go into further detail about my argument but at this point I think it'd be giving away valuable info about the game and some of my philosophies as an owner. No thanks.

Right, but you have no evidence to prove that a lvl 13 FB would miss that key block.
