Playoffs have had an inherent upset potential since season 1 playoffs. This is nothing new. It makes the leagues more interesting to do this and is smart from a business perspective. Its just that Gold Coast didn't boost until playoffs started. Cost us some playoff money but losing by 3 in OT when we hadn't boosted yet sure makes us look favorably on this matchup.
Tell us the secret of using playoff money to boost our players.
I think he means by waiting to boost they were not as dominant so they got a lower seed and no home games. If they would have boosted early they would have finished better in the division and could have hosted a home game.
