If we lose it is because they were better than us and we couldnt overcome the difference with our gameplanning,

unless our CB runs OoB(i've seen it) and we give up a last second TD i will have no issues

ASU- right on, the NFC East is unstoppable, the NFC as a whole - not so much

This game scares the shit out of me. Certain players on my team are really slumping, and I can't help but feel ripe for the picking.

Rumblers vs Magicians - Rumblers win 28 - 16

If we're going to be underdogs we might as well go big.

Still don't understand how 16-0 team are the underdogs, but whatever

silverbacks almost lost the fist matchup so that means it should be the same, and with the playoff sims sometimes favoring the underdog corsairs can pull it out. At least Nightmare is getting respect.

personally after tomorrow's game win or lose all i want is the Nightmare to lose. surely somebody can be the NY Giants of the Africa AA 1.

Don't count on it. GLB is not like real football...99% of the time the better team will win in the sim.

i've been on two teams that have been well behind in levels and seeding, and hit a fat run to win championships.

Hmm let's see, the Giants were a 10-6 sixth seed in a supposedly weaker conference.

Resemble any team current?

Hey, ya never know

only thing I disagree with is NFC East is NOT a weak conference.

The NFC East is a DIVISION, the NFC as a whole is the weaker CONFERENCE he was alluding to.

oh yeah my bad

When the majority of people pick you to lose then you become the underdog.

Yes, build and tatics matter, but since we don't know what each others look like I'm just going to look at the average player levels involved and note that yes even though we are the lower seed (why I said we are the underdog) we do have better levels and ratings in the match-up preview. So that being said I believe we will win and I chalk up the early season lost to a chemistry issue.

Playoffs have had an inherent upset potential since season 1 playoffs. This is nothing new. It makes the leagues more interesting to do this and is smart from a business perspective. Those upset teams are still more likely to spend money and support the game while the underdog winners stay involved and spend money also. It makes sense to have the business run that way.

Its just that Gold Coast didn't boost until playoffs started. Cost us some playoff money but losing by 3 in OT when we hadn't boosted yet sure makes us look favorably on this matchup.

If by slumping you mean "I can't gameplan my way out of a cardboard box," then yes I agree.

Tell us the secret of using playoff money to boost our players.

Are you afraid? Have you not been sleeping well lately? I hope you have your NO DOZ, MT. Dew, coffee or whatever it takes to keep you awake.

I think he means by waiting to boost they were not as dominant so they got a lower seed and no home games. If they would have boosted early they would have finished better in the division and could have hosted a home game.

Is this the "Our team didn't score and didn't force a punt, but it is a moral victory because we only gave up 88!" team? I don't take gameplanning advice from someone who knows nothing about football. : )

Cue your team of "Leave Britney Alone!" boys to flood this thread with tears, as they silently recall losing their virginity in prison.

Thought you were talking about the Ghana game not our previous contest with GC.
