Kool, I have never flamed on you or acted gay toward you, but on the matchup screen with all my starters in Hawthorn is the favorite, plain and simple. Right now I have ALL of my backups in, and I still think I would win based on the matchup screen: http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=2948&team2=2960

For confirmation of all my backups being in, look at my depth chart: http://goallineblitz.com/game/depth_chart.pl?team_id=2948

I think I win the argument!

It is an open forum.

Actually I was on a team in this league earlier in the season, but my team was kind enough to release me when they got in a higher-level backup. However, I have still been following the league with interest as nobody takes much interest in the D-leagues.

And when I said 'wide open' I didn't mean that them winning was a formality, merely that their main rival had been knocked out and so the road the the championship came through their house.

Well, there is a different between excuses and reasons. I wasn't blaming the sim, as I felt that I am partially responsible to blame, but rather I was pointing out some instances that didn't go my way, that if they had, would have won me the game. Reasons point out factors that contributed, excuses blame them, and I am NOT blaming those. I made a screwup, and it cost me. Don't get too cocky, I can see Sacred Haven or the Llamas knocking you out of your high horse...

I wouldn't be surprised if Sacred Haven, South Sydney or the Sunshine Coast beats us. I hope we can beat them, but in the event Suva does lose, you won't catch me on the forums QQ'ing or listing "reasons" we lost. The only thing you'll see from me is congratulating the victor for being the better team during the contest.

As for the Llamas knocking me off my high horse, no offense to them, but they have the same chance at winning the Oceania AA #4 inaugural championship as Hawthorn does.

...but didn't you think you'd win the last game too?

I was actually hoping for a rematch with the Headhunters. I really wanted to get an opportunity to avenge our only blemish.

But to call them our main rival would be a misnomer. When we initially scouted the division the majority of my teammates (myself included) mentioned Sacred Haven as the team to beat. I mean no offense to Hawthorn as they are a great team, but according to the match-ups comparison screen if you are to compare their ratings right now, the Knights are superior squad. http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=2938&team2=2948

I respect all my opponents. No way are we taking any game lightly... especially a game against the powerful Sacred Haven Knights. I can't wait for the sim. It's gonna be an exciting one!

We have smarter coaching and game planning. Advantage Hamilton.

Well in this game you can't simply go by the match up screen can you? Because if you did then the outcome would be predetermined before the snap.

Yes I am aware that you're players had mine beat in terms of level. However in terms of performance on the field the game itself came down to a handfull of plays. You can choose to acknowledge this or you can choose not to, but in our particular match up it was a 2 point game late into the 3rd qtr when Hawthorn was lucky enough to get an INT in you're territory. The outcome was a 16 point game, but it was far from being an easy victory for you're squad and it was far from being the "blow out" that you predicted. Instead of just saying "hey that was a great game" you said "we played our back up's".

Predicting yesterdays upset was pretty easy considering our lowly (12) Falcons held the mighty (1)Headhunters without a TD for nearly 3 qtrs. I'm looking forward to our
rematch.

Edit: As far as back up's. Take a look at our depth chart as well and you'll see that you're starters played against our back up's for quite awile in that game. Had I decided to play our starters the majority of the game I have good reason to belive that the Falcons would have won that game.

I concur and you can be sure the Knights feel the same way about the Suva Hawks. This is the game of all games for the Knights and I find myself on the end of my chair waiting with anticipation.

I respect every team on here, though I do respect some teams more than others (like Suva, Sacred Haven, Future Llamas in Alpha). I know there are very few games I am guaranteed to win (like Wellington Assassins), but that doesn't mean I don't EXPECT TO WIN every game. In fact, with enough talent, that is possible. I think if you have an advantage going into a game, and you are beaten, then you should be mildly upset- otherwise, why be a player or owner? Trust me, this game is motivating me to work my ass off here in the offseason to MAKE SURE I move up next season!!!

Perhaps your team used up its lucky rolls during the regular season. Didn't see you complaining then when you got all the breaks.

Who complains when they win? I did comment how I did get lucky when I beat Suva and Sacred Haven. Personally, I would have rather saved those lucky rolls for the playoffs, but oh well...

Its true, he did say that. It sucks when the luck turns and there's not a thing an owner or GM can do about it. Just have to limit the damage.

Uhm... would it have been that difficult to just ignore Kool if he's getting on your nerves that much?
