it doesn't necessarily mean you play on a crappy team it just means you are involved in a lot of plays. like the current league leader is on a 6-2 team
If you lead the league in tackles and you are a safety or a CB, then your team sucks. And I'll double down and say your defensive pass statistics also look good since nobody bothers throwing against you because running is too easy.
On the other hand, I know that many defenses are designed to tie up blockers and let one of the LB get to them, especially if you LB is the best guy on the team.

Barhma Bull just broke the record for most sacks in a season with 29. Pretty good for a level 18 guy who has yet to boost.
