I'm going to go so far as to say so many times Boston was on the verge of being knocked out and yet somehow, one way or another, found a way to pull out wins when they needed them... They were a dream team of sorts the way the lakers of a couple years ago were a supposed dream team with kobe shaq malone and payton. Dream teams tend not to work but Boston got lucky, drew a team like the lakers that, regardless of what they did in the season or who they ever pick up, rely on kobe. If you're a smart team you give him his points and you hound everyone else which is what Boston did. In the game of basketball one man getting his stats while the rest of the team is alienated is going to result in a loss.
With that said, you could technically try eliminating stats to find the best player against the teams that matter but everyone has their own opinion of who matters. We pick on Madden because of the way Davitrav has fucked around on the forums and come across as a complete dumbass at times ( no offense but you've had your moments), we've given shit to phirehawk about his bomber messages and his waiting on boosting, my own team the pariahs, depending on the week could be considered a mindless team. Bottom line, the only team that should possibly be considered thrown out of stats might be king donaldt because they aren't going to be here next season and weren't a real team this year. Then again, take everything I say with a grain of sand because its late and this game shouldn't be broken apart and diagnosed THAT much. Fuzzy Slippers FTW.
