Warrior General Games

I knew _no one_ on the Zombies before I signed with them. I also know, for a fact, that most of our defense were _not_ buddies either. I was one of the first guys to sign with the Zombies seeing as I was cut from my original team at the start of the Off-Season. I signed here a day or so later. I know for a fact that we scouted _as a team_ and we recruited _as a team_. Packman and VF did all of the heavy lifting. I don't know about the players that were here before me but to act like we didn't bust out balls recruiting this roster -- and yet again, VF and Packman deserve 99.9% of the credit here, the rest of us pitched in where we could -- then you're speaking on something you don't know the first thing about.

I think it's funny you try to make us feel guilty because we recruited higher levels than you. Isn't that the objective? To recruit better than the next guy? You guys did a great job recruiting, so be content with that. I also find it quite hypocritical to act like we're somehow unethical because we saved our boosts when your team was doing the same thing. You spent your's before this game. We're saving our's for when we really need them to get as much EXP as possible. What, was your boosting all noble like?

Besides, nothing stopped you guys from recruiting higher levels. Nothing at all. But really, we didn't go after levels... we went after builds. They just happened to be high levels. As far as the tactics thread goes... that just means our playoff tactics will be super good! Two weeks of planning! :-P

All along, the funny thing to me is you act like the whole Charlie Roster is comprised of guys that didn't know one another from Adam before this season began. Must I really post links to all of the splintered off El Condor teams that oddly have the same agents as players on Charlie? I mean, we've been down this road before. I'm sure you and Cubes were on El Condor together but _never_ talked or knew one other before CDS, right? I mean, spare me.

The thing is, we're not the ones bitching and moaning about that. Good for you guys. You can't go three seconds without bitching about our roster.

Anyway, before this thread saps anymore of my lifeforce arguing the same old shit we've already been over... you guys are right. We're all wrong. You're the best. We stink like shit. We're cocky. You guys are saints. We all are a big government conspiracy to band together and build a GLB team to conquer the universe and you guys are the knights in shining honor, put together of noble citizens of the globe that _never_ knew one another beforehand -- despite countless El Condor connections -- to fight the evil tyranny that is the Zambia Zombies. About cover it? Good, now that is aired out you can get back to proving the moon landing was staged and there are aliens in the White house.

I wasn't accusing anyone of gutting (sensitive are we), just that angst against higher teams is usually because they were gutted and brought over en masse (like a certain AA team that will be in this conf next year). perhaps I'm the one that is sensitive since y'all were level hating.

... and to think all I did was post in the Players Looking For Teams section and I ended up in Africa AAA#2.

For the record, I hate you all. That should cover it so no one thinks I have any favorites.

In all seriousness, I can understand Charlie's eagerness about winning. You guys were undefeated and losing a game is a blow to your ego when you were so close.

What I don't understand is all the animosity between 2 teams over one game that quite frankly could have went the other way quite easily. In my book, both teams are pretty equal. Even after the rest of the Zombies boost it will be a toss up on who wins. Should that game happen, the random number generator will do its work and we'll see who gets to gloat over some dots.

Avw, you have THE worst reading comprehensive skills of anyone on GLB. You must've done poorly on that part of the SAT. I'd tell you to go back and reread my post, but you'd probably end up on the El Condor forum since it's one page back. Oh wait that can't happen, you were cut from that team. Ok, you'd probably end up on the Oceana forum. Seriously, though, are you reading another fucking forum and posting in this one?

Grow up. It's called networking in the real world. And if you think for one minute your GMs and/or owners didn't do this to sign or recruit players, you're extremely naive. You guys have a great team. I don't think anyone in this conf doubts that. 15-1 will be a great season, but we both know 16-0 would have been much sweeter, that is if you win your next game. It's a good chance you won't though, since your GM's are too cocky to post a tactics thread for that one either.

Here is where I acknowledge to Pack that we networked (that means we did know some agents before we signed them) to get some of our players. And also, complimented your owner and GMs once again on the great team they assembled.

And about your boosts. Nowhere in my post did I say anything remotely about the fact that you guys were 'unethical' to save your boosts. They're your boosts, do as you please with them.

Seriously, man. If I have to put footnotes in all my posts for you to comprehend them, it just isn't worth having a discussion with you. From now on, I'm just going to ignore any of your posts because no one can have an intelligent conversation with you. Why don't you Google "Hooked on Reading" and buy the course. It will help you tremendously to communicate on an internet forum and everyone including your own team mates with thank me for suggesting it.

In fact, that probably explains why you 'THINK' there was no tactics thread in your own forum about yesterday's game. It was there, you proabably just didn't read the sentences all the way to the end of the period and drew your own conclusion.

Congratulations to CDS on a great win. Three touchdowns against the Zombie defense is a feat, and you stymied our offense on the ground and in the air. Great game. I thought it would be very close, but I didn't imagine it would be so high scoring.

I hope you guys get past Sahara in the semis, so we can get a rematch in the conference championship.

Thanks, Joe. It was one of the most exciting games I've watched - Pro league included. You guys have a ridiculous D. We hope to see you again when the dust settles on the Sahara game.

I play nice with everyone but them. In fact, I've even tried to be as respectful as I could to them in this thread. Some people just insist on blood feuds over a game. I've, uh, gotten past it and I'm not even going to reply to them anymore. Onto bigger and better positive threads!

And after watching the game film, I have to say that I think we were out planned this game. Yeah, the game AI blows (kicking a FG with 4th and inches deep in CDS territory with 3 mins left in a 4 pt game???) and yeah, the missed tackles did us in but at the end of the day, CDS put together a great gameplan. I do think we were too lax this game and can't afford to be that way next time!

Very good win, kudos to all involved and now go ahead and flame me. Nothing I ever say goes without someone finding some hiding meaning in it. :-P
