Not true CC, I PM'd you on 6/29 asking for some help and got no response at all. Sorry to call you out and all but it's one thing to ignore a PM asking for help and a different thing to claim that 'I would try to help anyone in the game, rival or not, if they asked' when someone asked and got ignored.

Hes true to his word...he offered some QB tips...and I asked...he gave me some useful build information to help improve our builds. Hard to argue with his results...his QB is lighting it up.

These are good guys...the probably didnt realize the flack they were gonna get when creating their team, nor knew how much of an advantage it would turn out to be in the short term with the difficulties the rest of us have had in recruiting.

I feel damn lucky to have the team I have...great bunch of players...and good guys as well. My competitive spirit doesnt like having to face a stacked team..but a stacked team isnt a reflection of the owners. Now last years bums...those were out and out cheaters....Atlanta's done it different...it causes us consternation, but..

Anyways..lets get back to the season. Man...cant wait till next years advanced tactics...how far you all got on creating packages?

One thing I gotta ask Nole..it to quit the New Orleans crap...as a father myself...it upset me greatly to have to watch the people of New Orleans suffer needlessly the way they did. The government abandoned them at a time they needed them most..New Orleans isnt a cess pool...never was...it was rich with history and tradition that goes back many hundreds of years. Is it poor? Yup..it is...and was. But it had a flavor all its own...and we as Americans should demand that it get rebuilt better than before.

Well, I had a chat with nole on the phone. It was surreal. I never thought I'd be talking to someone in real life that I had a nerdfight with on the internet. I won't say the conversation was pleasant, but it did help to drive home the fact that we're dealing with real human beings on the other end of the keyboard.

I've said some pretty stupid shit in this thread. As embarrassed as I am about some of the things I said, I won't go back and remove my posts. They will stay there as a reminder to me what happens when I lose my cool.

It is just a game. Some of the things said, on both sides, were personal imo. No one's going to fly all over the country to brawl over something said here; the only word to describe that is "stupid".

Nole, if you and I are ever in the same place at the same time, I'll take you up on that beer. I might even buy you one, too. But please, watch what you say about my hometown. No, we're not buddies. Yes, you will offend me. No, I can't be held responsible for what I do with the bottle when it's empty. Yes, I drink fast!

I think alot of hate torwards the hitmen is because there isnt any one else. like last year the whole league rallyed upon hatign the roadrunners. Now there is no one to really go against

Eh...I think jealousy is probably the wrong word. Competitiveness...I mean...Im going to assume most of us are football fans...BIG football fans. Most of us are very compeitive. All of us are trying to move up to AA. We all took the time to build are team around a bunch of different players...having varying degrees of success.

Atlanta did it differently...and their success has been great. So yeh...it does sting some. I like the Hitmen..specially Craig like I said...but my competitive side didnt like seeing them score like that. Like I explained to him..it felt a little like they were showing off...(thats how I took it...so..maybe jealousy is part of it)

Hey....good owners are naturally protective of their teams...we all fit that bill.

Spats happen...good to just leave em at spats.
