GG.. kicked our ass. my attempt at a zone defense plan has been pathetic so far wasted my time trying to set one up I think. I was told it by many people but I am stubborn. Oh well will keep grinding even if the dots are in the right spot none of them make a play

GG Tulsa and Bill Jack... Embarrassed by my kickers missed FG for Tulsa and I promise I didnt pay him !!

As an aside very impressive performances from Goats Colorado and especially Alamo .. Their respective opponents are all on my list of playoff favorites and imo will all end up with winning records so its looking very tight and competitive early on

So... Congratz All

Pro is crazy tight this season. Through 3 weeks there is only 1 undefeated team (War Machine) and zero winless teams!

GG Mustangs. We need to get us some conditioning coaches because that 4th quarter was brutal.

Good luck, if you can get it to work ... it's definitely a scary thing to OC against. I dread facing Nexill's defenses, so I naturally tried to copy what he was doing like 40 seasons ago. That was our worst D team ever, and I haven't tried since. I am not SMRT enough to run that D.

Yeah me too probably. I had an idea in my head but it's been a disaster. Oh well. i will continue to tweak and see what comes of it.

yeah, game was waaaay closer than it looks. Sometimes the wheels just come off, we've been on the receiving side of it too! GG

I have a few dots on Nex
teams and like it enough to be working on my own version on my prep team. IMO it opens up the d plays but its vital to have the right dot skills and abilities. My way of thinking is its easier to change stuff up and scout accordingly. Using some selected man + zone can target some of the new variances in the O play creator. Early days for me but fun and a breath of fresh air from the man cover stuff

The problem really lies in the fact that I have found a single, team-wide concept that works well for zone defense, but not much else! And the build doesn't translate well to man defense, so you can't really "try out" zones. A couple of really talented guys have figured out some ways to throw them in from time to time, so I don't want to say it's impossible to find good hybrid builds that could be good at both; and there's a possibility you could do some depth chart shenanigans to have 1 or 2 zone-focus corners that would get played in mostly zone situations or something. But in general, i think it has to be a team-wide concept from the start that everyone very specifically builds to. And even then, i find it to be far less consistent than a man defense. But it's also super fun, and after calling roughly the same man defense for like 40 or 50 seasons, it was nice to find something different.

This is really it, right? It's just fun to do something a little different from what you've been doing for a long time.

also i'm pretty open with what has worked for me if people are interested, i'm just bad at responding because life is intensely hectic these days and it's all i can do to long on and keep my guys from capping on TPs.
