Monster hit and zone shark basically do the same thing. They cancel each other out too. I am thinking it is a waste of an SA to get both. I might try it out though.

Even before this change I was building my LSU S* CBs to be max strength and power hitters. So you can check out my games for reference

I played against them...that's not a news flash to me
Congratulations though you have waltzed into a meta lottery

Monster Hit requires you to be moving at at least 50% of max speed. That's a limiting factor I tried it with corners before to not much luck, issue being that on most passing attempts they've slown down below that with the exception of when they are beat and catching up (still goofy) lowering thier heads and delivering a bone shaking shot.
Zone Shark has no such limiting factor - in short order it's going to look like Methampetamine night at the Roller Derby ring minus the pretty girls with tattoos.

So how is that different than it was yesterday? Except zone shark is weaker now and works for safeties in most man plays?
I guess I'm confused. Zone defenses were already using hard hitting LBs instead of CBs, so the CB buffs aren't going to change much for zone. It will help man defense because they were mostly stuck matching CBs to WRs. Zone defense was already benefiting from Zone Shark, except now it's weaker. Man defense will benefit from it's safeties getting to use it now.

That's high rubbish deflection. If things were the same as yesterday they wouldn't be different.
Having nearly every safety be a knock-out artist further excacerbates the issues in the passing game, moreover as I said there is zero reason now to build what most safties are which are coverage specalists because that is not a little hedged towards power now as it was it's way hedged towards power. Yes there is some benefit to man but really how long before we have zone corners with 100 effective power tackling- more over the zone safties previously limited to basically monster hit are now all going to be roid monkeys.
Basically you took the defense that was sloghtly ahead and added to it thinking it would give partiy to the man side or hybrid side without contemplating that it would most benefit zone teams because it will.
It's not like you have to worry about CB speed to any real degree on this game - most certianly don't. You buffed man good for you, you buffed zone way more because now every S and most corners can be a mobile turret out there. It'll look like a hockey game with a team full of encforcers, giving the man guys some enforcing ability isn't a step in the right direction in my book it's compounding an already jacked up aspect of gameplay.

This is exactly what I was trying to point out. These changes are gonna help man corners a lot.

I highly highly doubt it. Probably won't notice a massive delta until you are able to go gold with it but I seriously would not even contemplate building a man defense or hybrid defense at this point.

But not as much as zone. It's not just a question of where the sim is at the moment but how people will change their building techniques to take advantage of 3 rule changes that just made any corner you want capable of knock out blows and more affordable as well. It's a tad naive to think people won't rapidly change how they build and by level 9 it'll be pretty lopsided as soon as people can gold it.

We spent time discussing and debating each item before it appeared on the change list request so that we would prevent bitching after the fact like this. https://discord.gg/EzjpW5Zb

Good for you...hardly means I have to hang out for rollerderby. Cdog said its overwhelmingly popular you guys want it fine, as to my objection or "bitching" I don't like it if it looks like I think it'll look I don't want to be here for it. No one asked me before hand so I felt free to express my opinion now.
