Ladder Game 1

There are some important matchups in our first ladder matchups of the season, including some must wins.

Prisoner's Dilema vs Team BETA
Prisoner's Dilema had an ugly win over a CPU team in week 1, while Team Beta made an early statement by beating the legendary Jarvis Street Coffee Squirrels. Team Beta and their 7 superstars on defense continue to roll and defeat Delima.

Fairhaven Blue Knights vs Wiggle Warriors
Blue Knights and No Flex have a roster full of high salary guys and beat a CPU team in week 1. Wiggle also beat a CPU team in week 1..
Their rosters are almost identical but Wiggle has the better coaching staff. Wiggle wins.

Brooklyn Brontosauruses vs Buffalo Bulls
Brooklyn had the shocker in week 1, beating a decent team in The Flying Kaze 43-0....with zero superstars. Buffalo has mostly CPU players....doesn't look good for Buffalo. Brooklyn hangs half 100 on Buffalo.

1980s Rule Clown World Fools vs The Chosen Gators
1980s with a huge victory to start off the season over Holy Guac. Big time confidence booster. Gators tied a CPU team. It's not great...to be....a Chosen Gator. 1980s great defense and average offense win...but it is close....17-7.

Game of the Week
Scranton Scramblers vs Nevada Wolf Pack
This should be a hell of a game. Scranton won 79-0 in their first game...although it was CPU...that is nothing to sneeze at. Nevada beat one of the favorites in Palm League, Assisted Living V.2, 23-0. This should be a high scoring game. I am going Nevada 28 Scranton 24.

Davis Empire Tigers vs Seattle Pistons
Davis beat an all CPU Mediocre Maniacs in week 1 and now gets a CPU team in Seattle. Davis starts the season off 2-0 but still is untested.

The Flying Kaze vs Holy Guac
Kaze got absolutely destroyed by Brooklyn and I'm not very confident they will do much better vs Guac. This is a must win for Holy Guac if they want to stay in contention for #1. Coming off a week 1 thrilling loss to 1980s, they should rebound with a victory over Kaze. Did coach Butler053 update their end of game tactics? We shall find out soon.

Cleveland Cowboys vs Miami Sharks
Cleveland laid a big egg against Buffalo in week 1. Can their offense get started in week 2? This is the game to do it as they are playing a team that lost to a cpu team in week 1. Cleveland should win this.

Santa Fe Assassins vs Jarvis Street Coffee Squirrels
How the hell do you lose to a cpu team with 11 superstars??? Santa Fe did just that. Now they get to play a pissed off Jarvis Street, who lost a thriller to Team Beta. Jarvis Street by 40.

Passing is king in Rookie.

Let’s see who can build, execute and surprise some people with upsets.

Yep still true, man those trades of running all pass teams can come into help here.

Wow would be a real shame if Ghanima and 4Chan started casually coaching Offense and Defense on that team. I mean that would just be so unfortunate. Not that I really pulled my own weight in that particular game with the offense.

Ghanima defense comes in clutch yet again!

The ending of that game was absolutely insane.

It’s rookie bro. Don’t pat yourself on your back just yet. And you didn’t stop my offense.... we still put up 327 yards while running about 66% of the time. And had 166 yards on the ground which is nothing to “sniff” at in rookie.

Looking forward to our rematch

You stopped yourself with the 66% running.

Go 80% Passing.

Do I need to run your Offense?

No....but I did take some of your advice and remove goal line and raised my passing %. I was running so well it just kept calling run plays
