I've noticed that home teams usually start with a fragile morale early in games and then it will switch around half-time. This game, there was no switch and your high salary contracts kept your team "up".

I’m going to stay optimistic and build with lesser known agents, but I can now clearly see the argument of the side that is done dealing with them

I find that if you mix and match joining with both seasoned vets and lesser known agents you get a much more flexible and stable roster. If someone goes AWOL on team, you're at least not blowing out a whole season and can pick up free-agents later... usually, but you could also start with a bit more self built in say line and special teamers.

Devs need to allow player creation on any tier. It's the only way to keep most teams together.

I doubt that will ever happen. They are stubborn and think the current system works perfectly. It doesn't.

They need to cut the game to a single tier or make radical changes. Player creation at any tier would kind of lead to that.

I figure there are some potential pitfalls the Devs would have to "fix"for it to work, right?
The Flex needed to build a Vet player directly would be huge.
Would you be able to use a free player slot that way?
The life span of such an expensive player would be shortened and could be as short as a mere three seasons.
Agent interactions would start to become far less frequent.
Players of new agents might then be ostracized to CPU teams as seasoned agents reject offering contracts to them in favor of their own builds. This last one could hamper game growth and longevity...

If these concerns could be addressed I think the concept could be sent to them but otherwise give too easy an excuse to reject it off hand.

The system is very shortsighted and starts to break down in less than 20 seasons. The original peewee system from GLB1 was the only system I believe could stand the test of time, maybe in GLB3 if that ever happens.

If they so go to a GLB3... they should try the 16 bit graphics rather than the 8 bit just to get more variety in teams and stuff ... and stuff... ADD CHEERLEADERS!(and Beer)

Alpha Division
1 Daltonville Donnybrooks 11-0-0 L 6-10 to 16th Gallic Legion of Dove League. Pride of Heart League? You LOST!
2 Nascar Hall of Fame 5-6-0 W 6-3 @Memphis Preachers, Rose League. were spanked twice but got things working again.
3 Dartmouth Indians 3-8-0 L 16-20 @Atlantis Golden Hoplites Oh well, at least the players are developing.
4 Rock n Roll Damnation 2-9-0 L 10-17 @Sokia Bears What you expect from a team with inactive owner?

Beta Division
1 Gridiron Goolies 8-3-0 W 24-19 over Black Dragon Fight Club of Dove League. At least they still got it in Ladder.
2 Whoville Whos 5-6-0 W 45-0 over The Ville Gators. Had lost 3 straight in league and 4 of last 5 before this.
3 Buffalo Bills 4-7-0 L 3-17 to Utah Dogs. Still working out the kinks for next season.
4 Outback Crackerz 1-10-0 L 10-30 @A.C. Gamblers. Owner inactive and he IS the team.

Gamma Division
1 Honolulu Heartbreakers 10-1-0 W 101-0 against Mediocre Maniacs. Now ranked 2nd in Tier.

I don’t mind early inactivity as they’re replaceable. It just sucks to not do as well as you had the opportunity to.

If anything they shouldn’t penalize us chemistry wise for replacing inactives. If we could get rid of them earlier it would save a lot of the guesswork for the next season.

Biff I'm not a barber Barf here! Soaking up the news and barfing it out at you! Titanic tussles tossed about tiny title hopes this week! Let's get straight to the action!
Alpha Division
1st place Daltonville Donnybrooks (12-0-0) Defeated the #2 Nascar Hall of Fame (5-7-0) by a score of 26-6.
Daltonville needs only one more win to secure homefield since they beat Honolulu back on Feb.18th. Nascar now needs to win out to avoid a losing season in League play.

4th place Rock n Roll Damnation(2-10-0) lost at home to 3rd place Dartmouth Indians(4-8-0) 7-27.
The Indians struggled mightily to start the season losing 6 straight but now ride a 2 game win streak into the final two weeks of season. Damnation is well, damned with an inactive owner despite the fact that if some attention were given to their roster they could be far more competitive...

Beta Division
1st place Gridiron Goolies (9-3-0) crushed the 4th place Outback Crackerz (1-11-0) 44 to nothing.
The Goolies will most likely face the Heartbreakers once playoffs start. The Crackerz also suffering with inactive owner, who is the only agent with players on the team, are possible to fold...

2nd place Buffalo Bills (5-7-0) rallied to beat 3rd place Whoville Whos (5-7-0) 6-3.
The hard fought defensive tussle gave Buffalo the edge in the standings as they look to host Goolies next. Whoville has gone into a death spiral losing 4 straight league matchups and going 2-5 overall in their last seven games...

Gamma Division
1st Place Honolulu Heartbreakers (11-1-0) waxed that ahem, won at home over the 3rd place Kool-Aid Jammers (7-5-0) 17-10.
After securing division title the Heartbreakers are now still chasing the home field advantage. Jammers fell temporarily behind Deadpool's Mercs and will need to win out in order to claim wild card ticket.

2nd place Deadpool's Mercs for Money (7-5-0) defeated the 4th place Deadman Awakening (4-8-0) by a score of 20 to 14.
Deadpool's Mercs did just enough early in the game to then hold off Deadman's QB Osiris D. Minton's last quarter heroics. They suddenly find themselves in unexpected control of their own fate. Beat Jammers and they are the WC. Lose to Jammers and they will face the daunting task of having to beat Heartbreakers plus win on differential. Deadman Awakening will try to bounce back after two close losses when they face Heartbreakers next.

Teams, Biff Barf here. I'm soaking up all this late season news and barfing it back at you! And what incredible games we had this week! Upset victories, Daltonville looked vulnerable for half a game, Whoville unleashed, and the game of the week in Gamma! Let's get straight to the action!

-Alpha Division-
1 Daltonville Donnybrooks 13-0-0
2 Nascar Hall of Fame 5-8-0
3 Dartmouth Indians 4-9-0
4 Rock n Roll Damnation 3-10-0
Rock n Roll Damnation hosts an upset of Nascar Hall of Fame 10-3.
Dartmouth Indians were game in the first half, but found it was game over against Daltonville Donnybrooks 6-45.
Daltonville secured Homefield with win and can prep now for hosting the WC team. RnRD show there is hope for next season.

-Beta Division-
1 Gridiron Goolies 10-3-0
2 Whoville Whos 6-7-0
3 Buffalo Bills 5-8-0
4 Outback Crackerz 1-12-0
Whoville Whos show no mercy to Outback Crackerz 76-0.
Buffalo Bills get got at home by Gridiron Goolies 17-42.
Whoville just took out their frustrations for this season on the Crackerz knowing if they had a few breaks things could've been so different. Goolies on the other hand must prepare to face the Heartbreakers in Honolulu after Whoville next week. Bills lick their wounds expecting to finish the season on a high note at least.

-Gamma Division-
1 Honolulu Heartbreakers 12-1-0
2 Deadpool's Mercs for Money 8-5-0
3 Kool-Aid Jammers 7-6-0
4 Deadman Awakening 4-9-0
Honolulu Heartbreakers host Deadman Awakening and cruise to a 48-0 victory.
Kool-Aid Jammers lose to Deadpool's Mercs for Money at home, 10-17.
The Heartbreakers did all they could and still end up only securing the #2 seed and will host Goolies. Deadman Awakening look to tackle another tough team in Kool-Aid for such is the way of the spoiler. Deadpool's Mercs temporarily has set themselves with a one game lead over Kool-Aid but need to not lose against their divisional nemesis Honolulu. Should Kool-Aid win and Deadpool's Mercs lose as is expected then it'll all come down to tiebreakers for the WC.

With that I leave you with this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuBvLnGVvBc

It's crazy that Koolaid is ranked 6th in all of rookie but didn't make the playoffs. What a competitive league we have. Grats on the wild card Deadpool.
