If everyone that is a current user purchased a team right now- they wouldn't all be able to put the same number of stars on the teams. So some teams enter into the game disadvantaged. This game benefits the people that got here first- not just from an experience standpoint- but from a structural standpoint.

You are quick to deflect that this is not the reason the game is shrinking...sure it's not the only reason but it is one of the reasons.

I'm in favor of letting people create the same number of star players for their teams. Whether that is 0 or 12.

You, William, TyDavis, and others who feel like this should join forces with or without S* power. I am willing to help you guys out with checking out your planned player builds and offering suggestions, and Watching your games to offer up and discuss PB and tactics suggestions.

Best I can do man. While the S* stuff is a bit of a disadvantage, it is nowhere near the impact that player builds and coaching has. Additionally, I offered up ideas for people to be able to create more S* players while limiting how many they can sign to any one team, morale changes, and some support to the rubber band concept (how it would be implemented would be critical).

Anyway, if you all want to band together and get some solid insight by myself and I am sure other elite owners/coaches. I am game.

All great ideas! Let's do one of them.

I also dislike the forced joint team ownership part of the game. If I wanted to create my own team and have 10 star players on there so I can consistency compete with the other double digit star teams I think I should be able to. There would be a lot more teams on here if we were allowed to do that.

At this point the game is dying off more and more every season. So status quo isn't helping.

I think limiting the S*s on a team to something like 6 would help spread the love and make things less about S*s. Anyone arguing that S*s aren't a major factor in winning is lying.

Importance of winning:

1. Cohesive build plan for entire team and followed
2. Coaching
3. S*s

1 and 2 could be swapped depending on the level of coach I guess, but it's really hard to get the entire roster to stay on plan if you are using multiple agents (the initial purpose of the game I would assume)

So my Team the 7... Rookie as of right now. we have 10S* we are being out coached. we are also being outplayed. we cannot get the ball in the endzone. I'm just here to say coaching make more of a difference than having S*. I've lost to a many of teams who don't have any S*. coaching and builds make a big difference. trust me

I believe you've grossly mischaracterized my comments.

Throwing me in there and your previous two comments from a chain thread ok - I'll reiterate my point on number of super stars on a team is about a better experience for agents ie new players who sign up not about guys who own teams.

That said if I wanted your assistance ....I'm pretty sure I know where the PM button is, but that seems a bit premature considering you came along mostly after I'd left in season 10 perhaps it maybe you who ends up needing to ask for my assistance?.

If memory serves there is a limit of 4 household accounts.

I remember back in the good old GLB1 dot ball days having to PM Bort from Iraq, there was an internet cafe which was the only place you could actually use an internet enabled computer from and one of my guys say me playing and wanted to sign up but it was auto-blocked with some kinda of message about "you've reached your limit for this IP address, if you forget your account limit ....." of course everyone on the camp who ever signed into GLB was logging in through the same cafe so I'm sure it tripped whatever he's got in for that.

My poor thread has negative poopy all over it now but it will not discourage my soon return.
I had no idea this was a thread about how horrible someone did with 9 or 10 or whatever superpoopies.
Keep the poopy to yourself and work harder, not poopy harder

I am not in the business of burning any bridges. I've been around plenty long enough and was not a "major" player in the first 8 seasons of GLB2. BSB first fired up in season 8 or 9. Anyway, my owner record speaks for itself as far as whether I should fall in to the asking or providing assistance.

I get what you guys are saying for the newer users/owners. Once again though, nerfing S* numbers on rosters is a nerf to the variety of things you can do with rosters when planning them.

I am not going to continue restating my opinions, but I feel that they would all be helpful in ways that does not hurt current roster construction AND allows for more close games.

As for you Nucleus, welcome back buddy. This topic of discussion is one that has spread across a few threads. Sorry your return became a political battle ground buddy!

What I've been saying. Its basically impossible for any new users to gain traction in the game. It takes months and months to build up enough star points to even get your own 3 star players. By only allowing 3 stars per user - the game is forcing joint team ownership on people. If we are going to continue doing it this way then we should at least remove chemistry penalties for inactive players and allow users to make players at any tier to replace the inactives in their roster.

Your record does indeed.

That said.....
I fully insist on burning bridges. I find it focuses group activity to outgroup competitors and gives people a clear purpose. Never demean anyone personally, family and real life off limits, but anything on the virtual field is fair game.

Plus a full on rivalry wouldn't be the worst thing thing in the world for the game - sadly I'm going to be 4 seasons behind you on the ladder. So it'll have to wait until June ish.

Though perhaps that'll give C-dog time to program in some dirty play special effects, a little roughing the passer here, a late hit out of bounds there - not suggesting a pre-game brawl stands clearing brawl or anything - but having some teams you love to hate in your league goes a long way.

Hahaha! I dig it man! BSB is planning to be fully career boosted, so you should get some shots at us I believe. Some foul play SAs would be REALLY cool. If we are going to have them though, there should be a chance at it backfiring in some way since there are no penalties in the game. Would be really cool to make a team that was built around dirty play man!
