It's half time in the season! Time to look and see what is developing and... what is not. Biff Barf here, soaking up all the news and barfing it back at you. Looks like Alpha and Gamma are still a massive mosh pit of contenders but Beta is passively giving way like the bets they are to the alpha-Beta... Something just sounds wrong with that... Let's get ready to mumble!!!

Alpha Division
1 Seattle Seahawks 5-2-0
2 Florida Buccaneers 4-3-0
3 LogZilla Boys 3-4-0
4 Beaufort Zebras 3-4-0
With the Division leading Seahawks and, mixed in second place mess, Zebras losing while Bucs and Boys both beat their opponents...This Alpha Division is ripe for ANY of the teams to emerge as the true alpha as no one wants to be a beta bit mumble mumble, DARKSIDE!

Beta Division
1 Gliwice ND p_Lions 6-1-0
2 Whoville Whos 4-3-0
3 Alaskan Assassins 1-6-0
4 Marseille Manchots Royaux Penguins 0-7-0
It's pretty clear at this point that the Gliwice ND p_Lions are the alphas of the betas here with Whoville trying desperately not to become a beta but still are at this point. Meanwhile the Penguin Assassins just can't buy a bucket to cry in.

Gamma Division
1 Blood, Sweat & Beers 5-2-0
2 NW Mixologist 4-3-0
3 The Practice Squad 4-3-0
4 Cinematic Gridiron 3-4-0
This division Truly are the Ghost League's Gamma Gang Green eyed Monsters of the Midway. BSB Has been terrorizing teams for a few weeks now as they defensively roar back into relevance but don't think they have anything cinched up yet! The Practice Squad's win coupled with a Mixologist loss has left every team within no worse than two games of the Division lead or just one game out! This will not sort itself out until the second divisional round it looks like!

Can I just note that Whoville's CPU kicker has hit 4 50 yard+ field goals this season so far?

What does the CPU know that we don't?

I think it is more of OSIRIS's voodoo magic.

My kicker is terrible. Last I checked he had one of the worst FG% in rookie. He has been decent from long though.

10/24 isn't great - but it's actually fairly average for the league, and 4 of those 10 were super hard to make so I'd say he's been serviceable for ya

You miss every FG you don’t take. I’ve had a few games that we could have won if he would have made a few.

Biff Barf here, I soak up all the news and barf it back at you! This is a pivotal week in the Ghost League as we reach 10 games in with only 4 to go. Must win games have loomed up for teams in the wild card hunt as well as those trying to hoist Divisional banners. Let's get straight to the action!
Ghost Teams

Alpha Division
1 Seattle Seahawks 7-2-0
2 Florida Buccaneers 4-5-0
3 Beaufort Zebras 3-6-0
4 LogZilla Boys 3-6-0
This division is the closest to being a lock, but it's not. The Seahawks need to win just one game out of the next four to insure a tie at the top at the very least for themselves. After all, what are the chances of a team that has so far lost more games than it won running the table at this point in the season? Yeah, I thought so too. Florida does still have a mathematical outside remote sliver of a chance to win the division outright but nah, not really. The Zebra Boys can console themselves with knowing they at least were not in the Beta Division...

Beta Division
1 Gliwice ND p_Lions 7-2-0
2 Whoville Whos 6-3-0
3 Alaskan Assassins 1-8-0
4 Marseille Manchots Royaux Penguins 0-9-0
The beta cucks, er, I mean the Beta Division's gallant warriors are battling it out with reckless abandon! This week is a must win for Whoville's Whos as they can NOT afford to drop 2 games out of first place to the Lions with only the divisional 2nd run looming. A win against the Alpha dogs, um, division leading Seahawks would keep all options on the table while a loss would almost force them to acknowledge they are the biggest... wild-card contenders. Lions control their own destiny (or is that density?) from here on out. Simply put, so long as they win they're in. AA (thanks for sharing) and MMoRPg were long since identified as belonging in this named division this season...

Gamma Division
1 Blood, Sweat & Beers 7-2-0
2 NW Mixologist 6-3-0
3 The Practice Squad 6-3-0
4 Cinematic Gridiron 4-5-0
Wow... well what can I say... This is looking like the toughest division in the league. BS (giggle)&B control their own destiny just like the Lions. They can afford to lose one game, just so long as it isn't to either NWM or TPS. NW Mixologistare at the top of the wild card race with Whoville and TPS but are also within striking range of the division crown so long as they can keep up the brutal pace set by BS(snicker)&B. The same thing can be said about The Practice Squad. They could also conceivably walk away with the crown by running the table or at least not losing to the a fore mentioned teams. Meanwhile Cinematic Gridiron is starting to look like a tragedy with them being 3 games off the lead and only 5 to go but if they can run the table they could go 9-5 which leaves a decent outside shot at a wild card... maybe, too much is not in their hands so I doubt it highly. But they are at least able to say they are the best of the worst right?

Big game for sure! Major implications for BSB with still having to play NW and Practice Squad again as well.

I bet. There is a very real possibility that the only playoff team from our division is the team that wins it. Pretty grueling end to the season lineup! All good though. It makes things interesting.
