I've just outlined the reasons to my team in the forums. This is what i posted:
"Im sorry that i haven't posted this earlier but as you may or may not know i have been having internet problems so that has prevented me from doing so.
I decided to sell the team for a multitude of reasons and i'll explain them all below.
1) This is probably the biggest reason i decided to call it a day, financial reasons. I was spending £40 a month on this game and i just couldn't afford to keep doing that. I had to fill the team up with players and keep them boosted to stay competitive and that no longer seemed worthwhile.
2) Internet problems have restricted my access to GLB. This means that i can't run the team properly, hence why we lost Shamus as i didn't have the time so never noticed his contract was expiring.
3) Finally, i got little support from team members other than Hukton, and to be honest it was beginning to get on my nerves. People demanding starting spots but not even bothering to show up in the forums, nice team spirit...
All in all it is quite sad what has happened as season 2 was a great season, and i had alot of fun that year. I hope the new owner can steer this team in the right direction but its days are more than likely numbered.
I'd like to thank Hukton Vioxx for his work, without him this would have probably happened at the start of season 3. Not only did he help me massively run this team, he also controlled his own team. Hukton mate, i'll never know how you did that. Im sorry ive let you down.
