I like the current sim a lot. I don't want to go back to completely stupid offense. The balance is great, not sure if it is for the right reasons though. I like that you have to scout and pick your plays rather than just spamming the same thing because it is unstoppable.

-very slight boost to HB balance penalty and balance overall
-boost to screens, they were a huge part of the game once and a fun part
-ability to chose who if anyone is held back in pass blocking assignments, make it an option
-more plays, more formations
-Give us the DPC, at this point why not? They will never have to give us new defensive plays again

I would like a quick fix to kickers and punters, they are completelly unrealistic, and it would be such an easy fix, i don't understand why they never gave a s*** about them.

Make kickers better, make punters worse

I think if run blocking was fixed, that would go a long way. That and increase balance.

A couple of wish-list things that come to mind:

1) Make play action work again. Last offseason you introduced a dozen new play action plays but then lowered the chances for the fake part to fire. Maybe the teams I am involved with just don't play enough teams that spam PA enough, but I don't think I saw a single PA fake work all season, certainly not enough to warrant the high sack risk from calling the play. Really that nerf was due to the over-poweredness of the 2TE PA play, why not just fix/get-rid-of that play and make play action in general useable.

2) Make the YAC Attack SA provide a boost to both power running and elusive running (like how Spin does). Does anyone actually use YAC attack? (the answer is no). But if it boosted elusive and power, with a bonus to balance and carry/rec grip, suddenly it opens up some build ideas especially with the change that occurred a season or two back where receivers stay on their feet more. This also might help create some more offensive excitement to counter the doom and gloom sentiment that defenses are too dominant now.

Yeah, that was what I was getting at...buffing some of the SA to compensate on offense.

YAC Attack
Head Fake
Stiff Arm
etc, etc

On defense I'd like to see Chase Down buffed.

Still don't want to see offense completely dominate, just want the sim balanced is all.

Is this really the best solution? The game should absolutely have a different process in place instead of every user sending off a message every offseason to one person who might or might not respond in an inconsistent amount of time.

One thing i was thinking, and i believe someone mentioned before, maybe giving players more SA points? And i mean a lot of points, 9-12, it would make some (currently) useless SAs usefull, now it is impossible to pick non-meta SAs because we have some core abilities that you just are not allowed to ignore. Why players have such a small variety of skills? A SUPERSTAR only have 3 mastered skills? And they could limit the maximum number of Gold skills if they fell like some positions would just be nuts with 5 gold skills.

I think a few more SA points, added early in a player's career, would probably be a good idea, such as maybe non S*'s get the number of SA points, over the course of a career, S*'s now get, and S*'s get the same additional amount above that as now, so that S*'s end up with maybe 4 mastered skills.

Too many points and "signature abilities" are no longer "signature abilities," as everyone at the position would have all the useful ones for the position. Even if the more moderate increase that I just suggested were implemented, the weaker ones would have to be buffed (which should happen anyway, but it would be more important), so there would be some you'd like but you have to choose which ones to take and can't have them all.

More SA's and a bit of an increase in AP's. Give regular guys enough for 3 gold. Give superstars enough for 5 golds. Allow the trait that gives extra AP's to be 3 AP points.

Nice idea but to your earlier post, what’s the point if even Gold SAs don’t really do much.
