Originally posted by Sov. i am a fan of this change to the game (like i was when xars came up with it lol) but im curious to see if they modified it at all for QBs. idk how any roster can afford two QBs just to have a backup, plus QB is not known as a position to need substitutions anyway. might have to PUP an cond QB tho
I'm on the fence with the QB thing. Once we have data, I'll form an opinion / recommendation.
I could see a QB regaining more energy after a rushing play then a passing play as balance.
But the actual implementation needs testing first.
Without seeing this change in effect I think I might like it. It's a step in the right direction. I'm anxious to see how it plays out. Hopefully it doesn't effect QB's too much or possibly QB's still play decently well with low energy.

I'll be watching to see how your Single SS and Single FS do tackling GT in the second half.
Haven't noticed any impact on conditioning so far. Even when a HB goes right up the middle. High contact plays are the ones that should drain the most stamina.
My opinion is that the impact will be felt the most on defense. With some positions being expensive it's hard to fit depth every where, thus pretty much everyone chooses somewhere on defense to reduce the depth. That or they did with their Oline. IMO

Not to mention it will also influence offenses to further exploit a certain formation, so that the defense doesn't change it players as much and get worn down..... Not saying that's what I will do, but good luck! Haha

Yep...this is gonna kill defenses as they are the side hurt the most with stamina.
Originally posted by treygreen13 We're starting a scrim with GE right about meow. We don't run any position without backups besides FB... so we'll see how that is working now.
EDIT: His HB did seem to be gassed but it's rookie in a -4 degree, 20mph snow game. So who the fuck knows. They won but it was ugly.
He has 64 conditioning right now and was gased most of the game...
