Seasoned through Journeyman is just a sad journey though.

If they took out one of those tiers and decided to rework the system, I hope they intend you give you enough AP's at the start of the season right after Sophomore to hit a gold star. That is a huge difference maker and having to wait so long for that to happen makes playing up a bit difficult. And since sophomores are stuck in their own bubble, they won't be hit hard by that change at all.

I'd imagine just that... Combine Seasoned/J-Man and just give you all the lump points & SA right there. That would be the easiest transition without having to mess with a bunch of teams. I'm also betting this solution would give teams a higher retention to make it to pro/vet without reset.

Then we can have another season at Vet for that magic number 3

I think this point is spot on... also if you do it now, you'll be bunching together two fairly sparse tiers
