Holy cow shit balls! I know this feeling all too well. Had to medically resign from work. Battling insurance and docs trying to find what's wrong, tests after tests after tests. Then I have the amazing fun ex wife/baby momma that her and her husband make about 90k a year, and she's flipping out wanting more and more money from me. Lol

To not get caught up in the money grab, have your 2 free players and be active. Being active will help get your name noticed to help become coach for other teams. It'll also help you become a better coach. Let someone that has the money but isn't good at managing a team own it, while you manage it.

Spread knowledge, it helps everyone improve. Don't be afraid to test different builds, but remember the being active part plenty of people might of tried it already and you could end up wasting your time.

P.S. I'm just trying to rant and make this longer than it needs to be now for no reason at all. I'm curious if you are still reading it though. Sorry it took so long, but good news, it's almost over. By the way, I just got another quality win but am still fighting for a playoff spot!

If the player and boosting is free then where is the money grabbing coming from? I have a couple guys at work playing and they suggested we buy a team, but if that's where the money pit comes in then I think I will avoid that whole mess.

The money pit.. gotta stream it now. Lol, 2 weeks!

Correct

It can be a money pit or it can be completely free. Either way can be enjoyable. The money sink comes from owning all the players on your own team. Which eventually becomes somewhat expensive.

Jag-no worries, never hard feelings. I can only hope to be as successful at game planning as you've been in the million games you've been through. And I understand the stress associated with health issues (I have 2 boys) that comes with it (Multiple Sclerosis). I hope everything works out for you and your family.

Yes it does...

Exactly. It can go either way. Just don't go blindly throwing money at it. Learn it first, figure what you like to do, then purchase whatever extra.

It's not enough to just have a good team, but you want active agents and opponents as well. I wish my team was in with my original league of Black Mamba.
