At least for the player building function it is pretty powerful. I leave it to the guys that use the tool to speak on how good or bad it is, but I would think it worth checking out as it could save you a ton of time.

This is the reason I got back into the game. Now all the sudden scouting takes minutes not hours, and it helps me understand (generally)what formations/tactics work best at which times. I am still learning but tactics are not nearly as daunting as they once where, at least to me.

Stobie's player builder is basically why I'm still playing GLB2. Partially the Pickup Players as well. It keeps me interested in new concepts/ideas and then when I'm curious I make a Pickup Player to see if it looks stupid or not.

Stobie's tool allowed the individual owner to play and compete with those who band together and form alliances. Prior to the tool, you really needed multiple coaches to scout offense and defense and help create build plans. Now a single owner can do all that and save the results very quickly and easily.
