I played about 3 games, realized the dice roller is still crap, and stopped playing. All BB2 is, is BB1 with slightly better graphics...I am disappoint.

Seriously - try FUMBBL. All the classes are free. Graphics obviously are not there, but I don't like the complex graphics anyway.

But then those unable to do so would be at a competitive disadvantage. It would essentially be a completely new game.

your idea would force people to be online for games cause they would most likely lose if the other was there

That would be a game changer. Have both your QBs out for a game cause you run him to much and you have to either drop one for 20 days or us a HB.

Editable plays for a real custom playbook.

I know I'm nobody but I'm gonna jump in, this is super interesting. That's actually what I thought it would be like when GLB2 came out. But I do agree that you should have a choice between picking plays yourself or letting the computer do it especially if you're really whoopin' 'em. But that would make the games much better, although that is what Madden is for, isn't it? Still...

Allowing plays to be called live would create a huge disadvantage for any teams that could not call plays live thus changing the entire dynamic of the game. Those of us who work for a living or even those who have lives and responsibilities would not be able to make all game times thus it would be only good for those who dont. I dont believe unless they isolate this type of mode to keep it from interacting with the current set playbooks mode it could be done without killing the entire game. Sure it would be great if I could jump in and change something mid game(the small percentage of games I can catch live), but if I could I would beat the absent coach every single time, and that is unfair.

This, it absolutely wouldn't work. And how much longer would games take to sim if they had to wait for coach inputs on EVERY SINGLE PLAY? It'd be horrible.

It could easily work. Not in standard games, but could be something to do on the off day. Live scrimmages.

Put in a play clock and everything.

I would like to see penalties come into the game and work off the secondary skills like consistency and awareness to encourage more rounded builds.

Well - it has been a week or so -- hopefully we hear about some of the changes soon.

hopefully something to do between games, this site is amazingly boring. I'm just doing the free player now, but so far there's probably no way I'd spend money here. I'm waiting for some kind of hook and there doesn't seem to be one. Make a player and check in every other day... wooo hooo

spend money to have more players to check on every other day....? not so much

it seems like after the design/concept of the player, the rest is just waiting for stuff to happen


I just found the buy team thing... I'm almost tempted to spend the $5 to see what happens, but I can't see the wait list, and I'm not really interested in taking over some broken team that just became available mid season. if I'm here a month from now I might do it.

The real meat in this game is being a Coordinator, Coach, GM or Owner, not rolling up players. Where you actually have to plan and strategize and coordinate with your team mates, etc. There needs to be an option to coach/OC/DC etc CPU teams. This might entice more people to buy teams and such. There is an interest in this, just look at the guys who are doing the CPU Coach Challenge right now.

Absolutely the game is about coaching teams, not just making players.

The new game mode is guess the new game mode. We're all enjoying it in this thread.
