You guys do realize that this is an automated scheduler right? It's never going to be perfect and some team is always going to get the short end of the stick per say. I don't know exactly what order the selections are made, but each time a game is scheduled in a tier the selections get smaller and smaller.

A lot of people would rather face a similar-ranked opponent than an opponent they haven't faced either 20 ranks up or 20 ranks down.

there are teams within 5 spots of other teams that never played head to head this season. For example, both Columbus and Kentucky are within only 4 spots of Madison and we didn't play either this season... instead we're playing our second straight ladder game against a team we already faced in ladder this season, and Kentucky just replayed a CPU they already faced in ladder, and Columbus is playing All-American for the 2nd time

There is absolutely no reason two teams should play a ladder team a 2nd time the same day when they haven't played each other and are within only a few ladder spots

dunno where TXSteve is pulling his poll results, but ladder matchup logic has DEFINITELY NOT improved

It is much improved over last season. There are still flaws in it yes. But overall the ladder was much better this year.

That is because you only play Vet.

don't listen to diddy -- he's grasping at straws for why he's dropping out of the top 10....so it must be the ladder matchups fault.

To be fair, a few people have already supported it itt.

2 things:

I love the new ladder

I cant remember that anyone screamed for repeat matchups

no they just wanted 1vs2 3vs4 or 1vs4. Basically saying they wanted very close match ups at seasons end. and for the most part they have been that way. it did end with a few repeats. There also still a few that got way easy match ups too.

People asked that at the end of the season that we have higher ranked teams play each other. The only way to do this is to relax the "already played" check which results in multiple teams replaying teams. So, they may not have said directly that they wanted repeat match-ups but indirectly they did.

Basically, good job on the ladder bortdog. Clearly bigger issues to address at this point, so spend your time elsewhere.

Huge loss by Erkner today. Opens the door for AK to take #1 in the Pro tier with a win over Missingno today.

Vet: Bronx has a date against DD. LogZilla has one against MEM. Very clear that if Bronx wins, they're #1. Would Bronx stay #1 with a loss combined with a Xars win? Who knows... would prefer not to find out

Pro: Discussed above

J-Man: No Name holds #1 and can lock it down with a win over Salty. Virgins probably need a win over the Sperm Whales (inactive) combined with a No Name loss to jump to #1 in the tier.

Seasoned: GoZ appears to have locked #1 with a win today.

Sophomore: SACKS is 24 spots ahead of Portland Storm heading into today's game... it's a lock no matter how today's games play out.

Rookie: Most exciting one. DD 4.0 vs Hall of Fame - tied at #1. Winner gets the top prize.
