Aren't the running plays automated, so snap doesnt even come into play for HB's?

Maybe footwork affects your decision to turn your body or not when changing/adjusting direction?

Thank you, the ability to move laterally without having to turn, very important when shaking tackles, or trying to move in more than just a straight line.

These lateral movements are directly from footwork.

Is that why, when my receivers are facing the QB and make the catch, they start doing the moon walk?

This would explain why my mature zones are so awesome. My guys have (or will have) very high footwork. When they do, they turn on a dime and knock the ball loose or deflect or int several times per game.

tells us what footwork does kind of....

but doesn't really answer the question: it is necessary on a HB or are points spent elsewhere more advantageous?

If you take the Spin SA it is kind of needed

Those lateral movements are just the juke SA firing, which has nothing to do with footwork.

That's an assumption. Perhaps footwork makes the juke more effective? Its really all conjecture.

Carry Awareness is tied to surge...which is an increase in acceleration. By your logic...that means carry awareness is 1/2 of acceleration.

Combine numbers are also highly suspect as indicators. Show me a HB playing with high quickness and let's actually see his acceleration.

I believe Tachyon has very high Quickness and very high Sprinting. Could be interesting to watch. I've seen him on inside runs just smoke any other HB.
