Maybe a way to compare players on the same team by position per game? It's kind of tedious going through CBs game stats to see target to reception ratio for example. Some builds might be performing better than others and those are the ones I would want to focus on and move to better spots or get other players on the team to copy.

Stobie,

Build a new Hall of Fame.

We need All-Time Stats, Single Season Stuff, etc. All player stats in one large database.

Save Rob. the hassle of going through every player.

Both of the above requests are based on the idea I start sorting stats. I would have to start storing statistical data from the game page, but there are many stats that are not on that page, but not sure I can 'reliably' get to individual stats in a timely manner during the parsing request. I think this addition would be huge.

Actually my though wasn't to parse the game box scores, but instead the JSON data of the complete player stats page. Wouldn't this work? http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player_stats/97220

if Json exists. I have looked yet. But that won't give the game by game stats.

We can live without game by game stats.

FWIW I have started the stats parsing project.

yes and no. yes to the first part but not to access the data quicker but to actually see a break down like the play analyzer. For example, lets say im looking at Richmond. Last season they ran ps hb sweep 109 times. when i click the play all i get is a list of every time its run and the defense used in that specific instance. I have to go through all 109 instances and track down what defense was used and the stats against it and the team that ran the defenses. Im proposing instead when I click the play it list all the defenses and the stats for each defense just like the play analyzer shows instead of just every instance laid out.

I think I was going to add a json for player stats, but nobody was interested in doing anything with it so I didn't end up doing it.

Wouldn't be terribly difficult to add.

I am interested in stats at the game level per game. That way I can store them at the time of parsing the game and don't have to make a second process to parse players. Is hat possible to add to the JSON that you already have under a new array? Also if possible can we exchange a few PM to go over the content?

So do as today but rather list out how that defense performs agains that play on a global level or against that team level? If global the does it factor in that tier only and cPu and ... I assume you mean that team level.

Yea, the global level is nice an all but it doesnt tell you how it fairs against a certain team. For example the global level may say 5-2 man base stops weak i hb slam but at a team level 5-2 man base may not work against certain teams running weak i slam. So a team level version lets me see what works specifically vs that team with out me spending hours going thorugh individual instances of a single play.

You make valid points but question is are you the only one? Who else wants this?

Corndog,

Can you add a Career Totals on the advanced Player Stats page and the JSON so Stobie can parse it?

not sure if this has been mentioned so if so i apologize. When using the player creator I would like a option or button next to the arrows to hit that would max that skill for you so you dont have to click or hold a button a bunch to max a skill. Would just make things a little easier.
