I'll do rookie writeups I guess - for all top 10 & undefeated teams.
#1 Arizona Renegades (3-0) vs #1 Dumbledore's Army (3-0)
Definitely the game of the week. Both teams come in undefeated, with Arizona beating Santiago thus far, while DA has two impressive victories over Rated R and SNL. DA boasts a very deep lineup, with 3 TEs and 5 WRs to complement the passing game, while also maintaining a running threat that will hopefully materialize in later tiers. Conversely, Arizona has a couple of star players on the D-line, with a star Coverage LB who will mostly be tasked to cover Hermione Granger, DA's star receiver. Both teams have won some close ones, and this could go either way. I will take Arizona here in a close one. Arizona 13-10
#1 Portland Crows (3-0) vs #8 Detroit Demons (3-0)
Another two undefeated teams face off - however, I don't know much about these teams. Portland comes in undefeated despite some questionable roster management, leaving various plays on low contracts. This will likely cause the team to suffer as the season goes on. On the other hand, the Demons have most of their players on high contracts, giving them an edge, particularly early in the season. They also have a win over Rated R to boot. Detroit 14-7.
#1 Attica Blue Devils (3-0) vs #1 Inner City Kids (3-0)
The Blue Devils are a newly formed team, anchored with Rob's Star DT, Sack Attack. On the other hand, Inner City is an established team recently reset from the Vet leagues. Interestingly enough, ICK is relying on their HB running attack more than their QB rushing attack thus far, with all three of their top offensive players being HBs. Gotta go with Inner City. However, a better question: Since crazieveggie is so certain that running is garbage, why is he building another team with a running QB? Inner City 21-0.
#1 Geneva Conventions (3-0) vs #12 Strange Music (2-1)
Geneva is a team participating in rookie ball for a second season straight. They have not beaten any notable teams as of yet, but boast a plethora of star players that could make the difference for this team over time. As a team that primarily passes the ball, they will be facing off against Strange Music, another pass-heavy team (at least as of now) which reset from two tiers up this past season. Strange Music suffered a loss to the FBU Misfits in the first game of the season, but have since had two impressive games. The team also looks to be an improvement over the no-star team previously boasted by their owner, Donovan Tatum. I'm going to pick the upset here and go with Strange Music 10-7.
#7 Santa Ana Commando Killer Squad (3-0) vs #15 Boston Massacre (2-1)
SACKS has been dominant thus far, winning all of their games by 4 TDs or more, but does not have any signature victories to this point. With a star-studded lineup on offense and defense and an array of established agents, they look to continue their success against Boston, a team with a dual QB system. Boston has a very impressive victory against SNL, but had a questionable double-digit loss to Hazen in the opening round of the season. Call me biased, but I am going with my team here. SACKS 14-3 Boston.
#9 Air Farce (3-0) vs #17 Houston Mountain Lions (2-1)
Air Farce comes into this one undefeated, and with an impressive close victory over Santiago. On the other side, we see Houston, a half-completed roster which has put two victories together. I'm going to take the fully loaded Air Farce in this one. Air Farce 21-0 Houston
#10 Philadelphia Firefighters (2-0-1) vs #11 Oakland Haters (2-1)
Philadelphia comes in undefeated - however, one of those victories comes against an all-CPU team. On the other hand, Oakland has a loss to SACKS, but also a victory against the all-run California Dust, a team that drew Philadelphia. I'm going to take Oakland here in a minor upset. Oakland 10-3.
