At least half of Cougar is folding or resetting. That means there will almost certainly be some amount of consolidation between Rookie and Sophomore. I don't know how, exactly, they determine which league to fold. Some believe it is based on the last league listed for the tier (in this case, Panther). Others think its the league with the most teams folding. Only Bort/CDog know for sure, though.

either way it sounds like I may have a better league next season. I mean its one thing to suck on the field, but its another thing to suck in the forums and not posting

Last time they matched up, ASU's running backs ravaged Salty's D... But EMP's number got called so much, to the tune of under 1 YPC. I am curious to see whether either or both team changes their strategy. I'll pick ASU 21 to 17.
You might be right with ASU/Salty. We'll have to see but BEEF should have beaten salty if Salty's RDE didn't go insane in that game.

I fully expect Salty to change their defense for us. They did last year for the league title game.

At 8 AM we have Erkner vs BSB and Santiago vs Rocky Mountain.
Erkner vs BSB looks to be a good one... pure run vs pure pass - BSB has had the better of Erkner winning all four matchups, so we'll see if Erkner can turn it around this time.
Santiago vs Rocky Mountain is two rookie GLB2 coaches (unless you count iStatic's time in season 4 and before) going at it. Two balanced teams. Rocky Mountain has an interesting approach just looking at their player names / builds.

Rocky is interesting because i dont think any team would set up like it. Its MC first season in GLB2 and he built all his players and rolled with them no matter what. impressive that we are top 15 tbf

Yeah - when I looked at them I was surprised... scat back, blocking back and running back seems hard to pull off and get into the right situations. Any plans on redoing the team or are they rolling onto next season?
BSB takes a fifth in a row against Erkner: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/197763
Grats to Detroit Leos for a third championship in a row.
Still waiting on the other game...

In 20 minutes we have a ridiculously exciting game in FSM vs GA. FSM won in the regular season 13-3 - but has historically done better against passing teams. FSM needs a win to stay in the hunt for #1 ladder rank in GLB2; GA is already out, but probably needs a win here to have a shot at a top 5 ladder trophy (they could jump LogZilla, who is watching today's games from home). Of course, both teams would like a championship in their first season at vet.
We also have another rookie matchup - Trinity Titans vs The Atlanta Eagles. Marvin is the heavy favourite here seeing as he has the #3 team in the tier. The old version of the Eagles beat PORN twice last season, as well as a number of other top teams. Trinity is not far behind at #5 as a balanced team. Looking forward to this one.
