The run stuffing corners are only necessary because they wont let me line up a LB or a DT at corner when we know the opponent is going to run that way 90% of the game. I would build a block wall over there if the sim allowed.

They need to make WRs resemble WRs instead of the 100% blocking WR cheese. Defenses have to cover run and pass yet they face teams with 100% run blockers even the WRs. This also gives a huge advantage on STs when they constantly pancake regular type defenders. It's all cheese.

Rather than nerfing everything maybe they should only allow you to call 70% run or pass on first down. Maybe things could somewhat resemble American football then. As it is we have way too much cheese.

"But _OSIRIS_ we should be able to score a TD every three plays without a real stratagy, but they nerfed us too much already.".
"But _OSIRIS_ we have a dynamic offense we ran a few sweeps to the right in that one."
"But _OSIRIS_ 2WRs should be able to easily block four defenders.".

It's cheesy. It may be just me but I don't the same problems and exploits with passing offenses.

Let the thumbs down fly.

Even in "American Football" what your saying doesn't make sense. Only 11 out of the 32 NFL teams met your 70% mark that your thinking is a good idea. With ALL teams laying more than 50% on the pass on first down. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/rushing-first-down-pct

So going by that logic, ALL "American Football teams" bring the "cheese", when it comes to passing game, no ?

No I don't believe that's what he's saying.

He's saying that if you limited Offensive play calling on First Down to a MAX of 70%, then teams couldn't build Pure Offenses - which means Defenses wouldn't need Pure Defenders for both Run and Pass. Teams would move to a more balanced O system and therefore balanced O builds.

In the NFL, WRs do have to catch AND block some. They aren't great blockers, so when they do "block" on STs, they don't pancake a DLineman on the play. It (almost) never happens in the NFL, yet happens quite frequently in GLB2.

No team builds all CBs as Run Stuffers but most have at least one and sometimes two. You then build 3-4 Cover CBs.

And yet the 100% run teams can get away with 2 all block WRs on the roster to go against your 5-6 CBs, freeing up cap space for more defenders to cover pure run/pass teams better.

Give me a break. You cannot make teams call only 70% run. If I want to run 100% of the time, I have the right to run 100% of the time. You suck if you can't stop it knowing I will run 100% of the time. And due to the overwhelming nerf to the run game, it looks like many teams are now able to stop or slow down 100% rushing teams.

- The blockers are stupid when it comes to finding someone to block. They either magically have eyes in the back of their head and turn around to block someone behind them while running into the runner. Or at the snap, the center or guard will block a pass rusher off the edge instead of going forward to block a LB ON A FREAKING DIVE PLAY!!!
- The HB almost ALWAYS steps out of bounds when making a cut by the sideline.
- Run blocking skill points are RIDICULOUSLY high

On the other hand, it is damn near impossible to slow down a 100% passing team. WRs catch the ball with 2 or 3 players drapped all over them. It seems like over half the time, the WR will just fall to the ground while making a catch with a defender blanking him. If a WR falls to the ground, the catch needs to be twice as hard to make. THAT needs to be nerfed.

If you want to bitch about anything, bitch about passing being OP and stop crying about running being OP.

Stop with that crap of 100% run teams being stopped or slowed down. In rookie or sophomore yeah it's true since HBs haven't developed enough to make enough damage but just looking at vet and pro show that the running game is alive and well if built correctly

The passing game also isn't OP. The meta has shifted some to show that passing teams CAN be slowed down. Even the very best ones. Key is you need to have a very good edge rusher to do it.

I admit, I find the CiT meta annoying, although without it you'll be seeing those games with only 2-3 pass rushers and nearly every target constantly double covered.

Defenders knifing into the backfield on a few run plays per game because "RNG" is one thing, but defenders knifing into the backfield every time because of poor play design is another.

Fix those issues and it'll help rushing a ton.

While your at it fix the broken pass plays that result in sacks 90% of the time. You know what I do with those plays? I just leave them out of the game plan.

Screens are broken in a variety of ways. Chalice is another that draws too many sacks. I could develop a list if you would like. MY point is I am tired of seeing people complain that running is broken simply because they stopped allowing running to be OP and brought it down to passings level. Try passing some it will take the defense out of plays that key on your running game and you will be able to run more.
