If the SA it's powered by doesn't work...then yeah. If you've got a newer kicker, I wouldn't spend any SP on Heart until Celebration is fixed. Those points would be more useful spent towards maxing out Power/Acc/Cons.

I've never studied the players between snaps close enough to confirm it. Corndog said it works once.
I mean, you can go through the plays in the thread I linked. Aeir's kicker had 80 Heart and Gold Celebration. There was never a teamwide bump to morale/energy. In all other end of play boosts, like Showboat or Primetime (in endzone), you see the bumps.
Seems like Corndog was mistaken, or was talking about something else.
My kicker for Madison has historically been one of the best kickers in the game. This season he's just a smidge over 50%. That should tell you all you need to know about the state of kicking in GLB.
MEMs kicker has been fairly consistent for GLB standards (66%) and he probably has the longest FG made in GLB history (62 yds) yet he seems to miss too many timely FGs even with high consistency and heart. Seems like kickers in general are a bane more than an asset to their team. Something definitely needs to be done to address it.

So you don't believe heart plays in to kicking beyond the sa use?
I guess I never really thought about it. But if I never had to spend in heart it would make a kicker even easier to build. Granted they would still be incredibly random regardless.

I'm assuming that heart is a completely reactionary attribute. It helps make morale gains greater and morale losses smaller. But I don't think it would help with the actual act of kicking.
Once the kick is made or missed, heart will help the aftermath. I'd rather get the skills up to not miss the 1st kick instead of having a better shot at not missing after I've already kicked several times.
