Mostly that a game based around waiting doesn't appeal to many people. Especially young people.

The game for sure exists to make money. I can't comprehend the time and brain power it took to create the simulation of the dots doing everything they do. No way was that all made just for the love of the game so people can play for free. Too much work goes into this game for there not to be some kind of return for the labor that was put into creating it.

I took over a browser MMA game over a year ago and i'm overwhelmed at what it takes just to make stand alone images and add little bits of code. This game has quite a bit of complexity to it so it should cost money to play. You get more in return than OOTP baseball imo.

Only thing i hope for is that they strike the perfect balance with all aspects of football at some point. But what it is right now is pretty amazing considering the options we have in the genre. Maybe flex can be rewarded to people who have players that win the championship or win individual awards or something idk but i do understand your plight of the cost. It can get up there if you want to run a team during a less than active time in the game.

The player tactics are absolutely huge from game to game and if you can't handle it yourself or have everyone on the same page it really kills a gameplan.

It hasn't been fun for me anymore so I don't have any excuse to keep spending as much as I do; since I'm a foreigner and USD is 300% on my local currency (and our wage is half); I was spending every season what takes 2 days for me to recover working. Can't afford that anymore.

However, I don't think the game is expensive; it is for me due to social/economical conditions that are out of my control; but since most of the users probably come from te U.S.; it seems like a fair price to pay.
