I quit GLB2 in the beta testing phase because I found the player building part of the game to be rather dull. It was basically here is a bunch of points, spend them wherever and however you want. IMO they took away a good portion of build strategy and dumbed it down way too much.

You could really say the same thing about GLB1 insta dots that everyone wants. Here is a bunch of points. Go to town. That isn't how the actual game works though. You go through your career and spend on things you are weak at by watching the sim.

Easy to build, yes. Making build decisions irrelevant, no.

It shouldn't be hard to build a dot, imo what's the point in making it hard? The magic thing should be what does the build comprise of.

I am not convinced that insta dots is the fix myself

It's not, but I'd make some insta-dots and play GLB Classic again if they were available.

I wouldn't even care if they were inferior to the long built dots due to ALGs (although I would like some extra SPs to bridge the gap slightly, like halfway). I think the upfront flex cost would be too much though, especially since they are dead set against lowering the boost cost. I can't believe WRs are still 3rd tier positions

I am not either. But a lot of people do believe that to be a fix while also citing how easy the player building is here. And that just makes me

I think most of the guys wanting that do not have enough dot builders that will build for them and they need the insta 79's to keep rosters full.
I am glad to say I do not have that problem. We are building a farm team pretty much every off season and have no issues with having enough dots for our 4 WL/Pro teams

That and they think the build process is far too long.

Anyone else who has never played GLB1? I know there are more, many don't post in forums though

the long build process does not bother me tbh. I find other things to keep me attentive.
To tie into what I was just saying though, they have not effectively planned out the team and dont have the resources and again, the dot builders they need to sustain the team without the 79's

I know, while there has been good discussion on here, I'm trying to bring it back on track before it's merged.

jeez, yeah they banned people so quick over there it was ridiculous. To make it worse it was generally a shitty mob mentality of MODs that did it and if you weren't "friends" with them then you got the ban hammer fast
