I'd want to see teams in the tier. Across the whole game would be useless. Across a league would only be valid if we were in a league matchup. I think it'd be easier just to provide by tier.

This probably would be most easily accessible through stobie's scout and maybe I will chart it myself somehow. But I would love to see someone chart out how the coverage works for each defense play against each offense play. Whether someone diagrams it or just simply runs every play vs. every play in the book and marks it with a replay.

Like AA alluded to a couple posts back. He played Logzilla and wanted to know how to best shut down WR3. Well, the best way would be to put as many defenders in the zones of his plays as possible. But you know very well that 3-3-5 Man Base is a nice play, it also leaves you quite vulnerable against WR Posts from Trips to the TE. Just having something handy where you can click through defensive plays and look at how the coverage works without having to spend 20 dollars in scrims to check for yourself how they interact.

That would be one of the most helpful things to me for just about any DC/OC. Knowing how the coverages work for every play or at least getting a confirming visual of it the way its supposed to beyond the random elements changing events.

Duro - if I recall - Stobie was already working on something like this I think.

As an example: who covers who and how do they line up with looking at FL Hitch vs Dime Man

I haven't heard him mention anything about it for awhile though as he's gotten swamped

That would be great as that would be a lot of scrims for me to run.

I attempted to start this but the. Realized it was so damn variable and it would essentially change for each play within a set on defense. So let's just say there are 300 defensive plays and 300 offensive plays. That is 90000 combinations. I gave up to say the least.

I like Romo's #1 a lot.

I like what Duro was getting at, although I didn't really see how it would be possible. There are a ton of defensive plays that look good but I have never really seen in action. I assume they are terrible and I don't really want to find out first hand. If there was only a way to auto capture replays featuring unique play combos to a database.

FWIW, seems to be quite a bit of request for functions added to teams schedules and such so I am going to rewrite this section to be adaptable because right now, VERY fragile.

Right now I will be just trying to mimic what I am doing with new code, but will add next/upcoming games. Also Day of game. Possibly team tendencies and something to do with ladder rank or record. Dunno, we will see what I get.

FWIW here is a very quick glimpse of upcoming games showing in the schedule window now.

Not sure if I like them up top, might put on the bottom after a separator to says 'Upcoming Games'

tbf nobody wants the answers or anything they just want the look of the play.

Its not possible to see the plays in action versus another play? Of course it is.

But probably going to end up being us running scrims and me putting plays in to do it....yay 100 useless scrims.

You meant play art to play art or real live lineup view?

New changes you've made are wonderful Stobie! Saves several clicks and saves a lot of hassle (for me anyway).

Next minor thing I'd love to see. Let me see a "team scout page" as my "home page" where it takes me instantly after logging in so I can skip the current home page.

So say I set Minnesota Stunners as my home page...I log in -- and am taken directly to the stunners scout page -- which shows upcoming opponents, etc.

If it turns I'm going to scout a team other than the stunners -- sure I will then need to click my own way to the home page to then go scout for a different tier game...(or just click the scout team button if I know the teams ID#).

Better yet (maybe). Between FUMBLES and NEXT 4 GAMES - - and a small quick box that shows ID numbers for all of my affiliated teams....

Stunners: #284
Porn: #990
Legacy: #118

This could be in a smaller text maybe.

5. Have a 'next game' button on the 'Scout Team' page. Clicking it would draw the team ID of the next opponent the account holder's team is playing. Don't know how you'd do it for those with multiple teams, maybe just give them multiple buttons. Columns of teams or something. Just a way to not have to dig up the team ID.

This one would be helpful in my opinion (especially at rookie).

Either assign teams a rating of some kind:

100P = 100% pass
100R = 100% run
90P = 90% run
50P = 50% run / 50% pass

Have this rating show up in the team schedule area. So it might say:

{league icon} Ashland Dockers (90P) 17-17

So - I'm scouting PORN. Legacy is not a 100% run team....so scouting the 100% run team games vs PORN is kind of useless for defensive purposes. Would be nice if at a glance I could make sure I don't include games against all run teams, etc.

Would also be fun to see at a glance what teams are doing (even though the data is thin).

Have fun --- > http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/thread/5209631?page=39#49041965
