Air Raid and Salty are not top 5 teams and it isn't an insult saying it. Those teams have been beat by Heliums top teams already.

I'm ok with not being as high as 6 because we have a very bad tie against Hillfield and haven't really played anyone besides Air Raid in the ladder.

If I had to do a top 25 right now

1. Stunners - like TXsteve's stunners. Not Galithor's stunners.
2. Bulldogs - Gave them the nod over INHS at this point but the margin is quite slim.
3. INHS - Undefeated and of course I could take arguments that they are 2, maybe even 1.
4. AA - Could certainly argue Bulldogs to 4 and these guys to 3. I don't like AA's defense woes right now though.
5. MMA - Will be interesting vs. AA when they meet.
6. Salty - Minor setback against Stark and Queen City but they have stood the tallest among both sides of the run/pass wars on defense.
7. Air Raid - The way they are currently playing could easily send them outside the top 10 but the jumble at the top of the top 10 is because these guys folks.
8. Run GLB - Becomes a real tussle from here to 12.
9. Queen City - As the chem picks up so does this team.
10. RI Falcons - Some quality wins but I don't think enough to move higher than this.
11. Ronin - They beat the teams they are supposed to. Lose to the teams ahead of them.
12. DD2 - A nice win over Air Raid but the Hillfield tie and not disposing of Rusty better sits them here for now.
13. Minnesota Balanced Raid - The first Pro team on the rank. Don't know enough about them yet. Maybe too high with loss to stoners.
14. Richmond Redskins - Nice win over Jebs. Not quite on DD2's level yet.
15. Jebs - Have scoring ability. Lacking defense.
16. Portland Storm - That Rebels loss.
17. Stark - Need less people to gameplan against them.
18. DD - 3rd pro team. Still need to see something more from them to get a better handle.
19. Stoners - wtf happened against LUE?
20. Legacy - No W's to move them up. But they still are decent.
21. Gatling VP - Their run game gives them the ability to keep games manageable.
22. Ducks - shut out by the Galactic Heroes?
23. Rusty - Need to find an offense soon because defense is tired of carrying the team lately.
24. Long Island - I am just taking shots in the dark at this point when it comes to Pro teams. They beat WCW.
25. Drunken Zombies - Could be a lot of teams here but I thought they looked the most interesting.

Ronin's actually a pretty good team in this sim. Just so much heart

Their reality is that they are better suited to play with run focused teams than pass focused teams, though (and unfortunately there are more pass teams than run teams right now). They're a team that as a whole tackles well.

They have been hammered by every good team they have played minus the Rhode Island game.

looks pretty good, only things id change is a couple near the top, INHS #2, AA #3, Harry #4, AR #5, then MMA #6.

9. Salty
10. Rhode Island (would have actually put them at 6-7 but had a terrible 3 game skid)
11. Air Raid
12. Ronin (Would probably get beat by some of the Pro teams right behind them)
13. Minesota Balanced Raid (Very balanced team, will give anyone trouble at the Vet level)
14. Richmond Raiders (Some issues with play calling, but a very good team)
15. Portland Storm (Some strange losses, but a good team)


The rest doesn't really matter.

I don't see how people are still putting Air Raid near the top 5. Eventually losses have to matter.

In my mind, Air Raid = Alaskan. They're the same teams with different coordinators (or in Air Raid's recent case, no coordinators). While losses do matter, and they've had them in bunches this past week, I still view them as an offense that's incredibly difficult to beat in this sim.

Not buying the no coordinators excuse, they have ran multiple different gameplans during this streak of losses. They just have been some bad choices. I do agree they have the offense to beat anyone, but you can run 1 play and beat them because their roster is so mismanaged they can't run most of the playbook.

Edit: AA is better because of better roster management. They can actually hurt you out of the 2 WR set, something Air Raid can't do. Also, AA's defense is much better although they have had a few games in which the defense didn't show up.

Their wins over Queen City and MMA are enough for me to currently. Not to mention of their 6 losses only 2 were by more than a TD. Both of which could be the top 2 teams in the game. If they start slipping to teams we aren't talking about as top 10 I will be moving them down the list along with other people who lack consistency.

And ya, losses need to matter, but so do wins.

Sorry they lost to salty by 10 as well. Missed that on my explanation. Still. I believe Salty to be close to the top 5 as well.

Yep that was an overreaction at the time. Right as Air Raid was falling of the cliff. Still think DD2 is a top 10 squad
